I figure it's worth its own thread content.gif

1. If you buy artifacts and trade them back in you would get a 32% credit sale by my calculations...

2. I hope we can get more packages smile.gif

Well, keep in mind that when you trade in artifacts, the credits are bound. I'm not sure where you are getting a 32% sale but the sale on purchasing the artifact is 20 cents per credit (which is huge). Trading in the artifact would give you bound credits at approximately 31 30 cents per credit--which still is a good deal for low amounts but keep in mind that credit packages of 1000 credits or more will give you unbound credits at a lower rate. Hrm, hope that's not confusing!

Also, the envoys have been discussing that some of the class packages should be changed, so feel free to discuss it here! For example, some are arguing that the wicca-guardian package could be better, so feel free to offer suggestions (note that the class packages must total 1100cr value total).

EDIT: That's 30 cents for trade-in value, not 31, not sure what I was thinking of!

Thinking maybe do a rogue one, powerplex + one of those power rings + something else I dunno.

An aethership package.

A wheel, a lightning, and a spider diamonut, plus a whistle.

you could also do two sets, one you duplicate, and one that's unique

-------------------------

one that has a wheel, a spider, an anchor, and the whistle

the other is 1 lightning, 1 starburst, and an hourglass

Aah good point, I forgot that they would be bound, so no bonus lessons!

What with skillflex just coming out, how about a Crafter's Package that has some subset of the manse craft artifacts (workbench, oven, pentagram, etc.)? Though... unless it had just the right combination, I suppose no one would buy it. Meh... can't think of a way to make it work without creating some new mechanical intermediate step (like "three tickets that can be turned in for any of the following tradeskill manse items").

Ditto, but for the personal trade artifacts (gloves, mallets, pantographs, etc.).

An Indisciminate Body Package which includes the cameo and the gilded mirror. biggrin.gif

I think it'd be better to just let players pick their own bundles. (ie: custom packages) The greater the number of artifacts you bundle the greater the discount. There is just no way I can afford/be willing to pay for an artifact that I wasn't going to purchase anyways but that's just me. Those of us who have deep pockets might already own one or two artifacts in the set so greater flexibility would be more attractive.

EDIT: Also just a psychology thing, but I remember reading that it's good to have choice but too much variety overwhelms and turns people off.

Unsure why a Great Rune of Dominion is in the Wiccan/Guardian package. Roomwide Dark and non-controlled hexes are the only guild skills I need my enemy list for. Would have made more sense in the Mage/Druid package.

This is an IRE-wide promotion so we're following the guidelines. However, if there's a package that you don't see that you want, drop me a line and I'll see if we can't put it up.

Sooo tempted by the Influence Runes package... you save about $60 USD and which is about $60 AUD at this time and age (Ok! $61)

Just a question though:

The Influence Runes, do they have to be attached to something? And to what?

They're jewelry runes (so they'll also make the jewelry permanent).

Be careful with the begging rune if you get it! It has to be attached to jewelry, which will increase your prestige and nerf your begging while wearing it. Attach it to a necklace or choker, which you can then hide with a scarf, to get the full bonus.
