It's a delayed illusion that can only be seen by the person I hit with it. However few seconds before that the person is going to see. And anybody else is going to see

And I just feel like there's more things that would, I guess make sense if it was a dream, rather then a hallucination.

But if you go into dreamform and flick the mote at a sleeping person, it shouldn't require puncturing their aura. And I don't think anyone would see the flicking either, if you're in your dreambody.

From the wiki:
QUOTE
Hallucination
Syntax:
DREAMWEAVE HALLUCINATION (to create a mote)

DREAMCAST HALLUCINATION
Power: 1 (any) (to create a mote)

You can weave a hallucination dream mote, which can then be cast at others.

Note on dream motes in general: all dream motes may be cast regardless of if you are in dreamform, though they can only be created while you are a dreamwalker. Also, all dream motes will successfully strike a person if he or she is in dreamform (provided you also are) or if the target is asleep.

Things I like about Gaudiguch:

A casual, unique atmosphere.
Players have a good sense of humour.

Things I don't like:

People constantly trying to burn you alive.
A complete and utter lack of organization(haha city of chaos, whatever people), shoddy scrolls, LAZINESS. Then again I'm lazy so that isn't really a big deal.

Hrm, that had slipped my mind actually. Dreambody tends to slip my mind a lot since half of it never works right.

One issue I have with Gaudiguch is that it feels like the OOCness is pretty heavy. Like, the logs, you've got Lyria making a comment that is simply "Kalin, you're awesome." in response to Kalin favoring someone with a comment of "I'm corrupt and I can do what I want as a free citizen"

Sure, funny. But feels kinda OOC to be showing up in the city logs.

I just heard about someone being kicked out of gaud/guild for doing nothing wrong while a citizen. That's just sad if that's close to the truth.

Good thing it's not then.

P.S. He quit Gaudi.
Ixion2010-07-17 04:28:55
Ehh... what did he do then as a Gaudi? I feel bad for him not being able to play the guild he wants to + the huge lesson loss he endured by joining/forgetting old skills.

All the passive aggressiveness in the forums is like spilled juice on white linen.

lol leave off half the favour reason. She was favoured for the delport revolt. Yanno that thing that everyone who was at the delport revolt is gonna get favoured for.

Kalin cityfavoured Aiyana for: Delport revolt, plus I am corrupt and I can do what I want as a free citizen.

Also, it's hardly OOC when that is the crap people say IC. And Lyria's comment is not even close to anything OOC in response.

Really you need to whine less or find a city that more suits your Awesome sense of RP.

Too much salt is bad for your health.
Lyria2010-07-17 04:36:05
The thing I find funny here is, last month there was bitching because Lyria attempted to RP a bit instead of "Hey I read the logs.". This month she reads the logs and makes a comment and suddenly Gaudiguch is full of OOC?

I can't stop laughing at the amount of stupid.

I managed to skillfully avoid dealing with that issue.

I don't know the details, but there was definitely a lot of conversation about the person in question. It wasn't just one person/clique capriciously booting someone. Other than that, its quite IC.

As for the OOC in the logs? It isn't. Here's why its there. Gaudi has had, naturally, since its recent inception, this thing with Freedom. Go figure, right?

Anyway, what happens is, person A pisses off person B. Person B does something back. Inevitably, person A or B invokes their right to do whatever they want because we has a Freedom.

This especially comes up when someone in a political position tries to enforce/restrict/do stuff person A or B doesn't like. Rather than being concise or creative in their own defense, a person will, often reliably down to the wording, come back with "We're a free city, I'm just using my rights to be free!" or something to the effect.

So, the log was an IC joke about Kalin using the same argument, tongue in cheek, to do what he wanted to do.

Sort of looses something in the exposition, but meh, you get the idea.
