What would it have looked like?
Well...
QUOTE
Appearance: an incredibly manly pink scarf
Dropped: A scarf of pink wool lies coiled here, like a super tough snake that could strike at any moment.
Examined: Danger has a new look, and it's woollen, three feet long, and dyed a cherry blossom pink. This wool isn't soft, dainty wool; it's coarse and scratchy, a true testament to the rugged manliness of its wearer. The scarf's thickness will keep its wearer warm in the bitter cold, where the manliest of activities such as lumberjacking and polar bear wrestling take place. There are no embellishments or embroideries at all, because those are for sissy women and girly men, not champions of testosterone. It is the perfect accessory for flaunting one's overwhelming machismo.

...I wrote and submitted that one night after I hadn't slept for about 48 hours, fully expecting it to be rejected immediately. Instead, it sat in submit for weeks, eventually being marked for Divine Review.
Don't judge me!

I would bust through all trade bans to get that scarf for every character I have.

Wow. Hadn't taken a close look at Shikari's shrines.
So... is it wrong to start naming war shrines after people?

Nocht and Maylea had a thing, if memory serves. They seem far cuter together.

It hasn't been revealed what exactly happened between them, but yes, they're cute.
But I'm still a LiFaiTruEashaZeon fanboy.

Problem: As much as everyone complained about roomwide choke, after months of the alternative, single target choke has proven to be an even greater evil. Single target choke in group combat is akin to playing hot potato with a small nuke: whether it's the caster or the target (more often than not the target, since the caster can decide when's best to choke), someone is going to nigh instantly die as entire groups dogpile someone with extremely limited curing and ability to act. Indeed, I feel the path that was taken with choke was not only a little -->>shortsighted<<--, but also more complicated than it needed to be.
Solution #1: Solution 1: Make choke roomwide once again, but with some strict limitations: anyone standing in a choked room receives a protection field that blocks demesne effects and loyal entities (-->>fae<<--, angels, demons, etc). Furthermore, if the choker leaves the room he choked, choke will drop in 2-3 seconds unless he returns.

It would be cool to see a more personal side of Terentia. Like her beating up an ex-boyfriend or something.
Elostian is obviously the best/most attractive/awesome, though.
Sylphas2010-07-12 20:58:06
As much as I hate Choke, that's a ridiculous report. The better option is to just give SDs normal aeon to play with.

The mindset that intelligence and charisma are important to casters and strength and constitution are important to melee totally misses the fact that constitution is important to EVERYONE and that casters don't ususally damage kill and therefore really don't need huge int.

You have just given me the mental image of Terentia beating up Eventru. And it is good.
Even though they were

I want my unspecced lucidian con back.
Jack2010-07-12 21:28:54
Are prismatic lucidians the only mage/guardian spec that actually lose con? Because that seems a little unfair. They don't really have anything up on cloud trill: poorer dex and charisma, and only marginally higher con/int.
