Which would explain some of the racier passages, looking back on it.

I regret to inform you that meaningful data may only be gathered while you are ignorant of your origins and purpose. Thus, any new data gathered will be tainted by your enlightenment and useless to us. Therefore, your existence is a) meaningless and b) a waste of resources. To address these issues, your existence will be terminated at the next appropriate opportunity.

laugh.gif Suppose I wouldn't care if people thought I had an Illuminati alt usually, but when this alt is apparently getting involved in elections somehow (don't ask me how), it gets a bit annoying.

So, there I am, hunting in the Undervault when I come upon a deepstone rockeater. I'm thinking it is going to be an easy kill. No, this little rockeater has the awesome power to disconnect me long enough to not only die, but get to zero mana and be losing experience when I get back. Thankfully, not in it for the experience, but losing 20% is nothing to be happy about either. And I was able to end up getting what I wanted.

Meanwhile, my internet dies, causing me to lag out and lose all my defs...but not until I'd only partly lagged out and was unable to input commands but still die to a guard. OTL.

Mine was more humiliating, but I feel your pain. Though, not like I'm going to get to the next level ever, so no point in caring about the lost experience.
