You are now afflicted with BLINDNESS.
You are now dead. Pray for salvation?

Oh noes!

That sounds more like coming up. Going down should be ok, until the pressure is too high where you're just crushed. Maybe what you suggested happens when going up, and going down your ears rupture and bleed, your skeleton gets crushed, etc. suspicious.gif

Which means we're talking somewhere between 1 and 4,000 feet in depth, just shy of a mile down - or right around a kilometer for you british folk.

huh.gif We use miles over here thanks. You can keep kilometres! -eye-
Acrune2010-04-25 23:07:46
I'll believe it when I see it. Crazy British.

This is a good point. I wonder if I can convince Estarra to let us make it so if you move between layers too quickly you'll be instakilled by DysbaricPressure.... suspicious.gif

something like insanity except in water? hmm, you have to make more underwater levels though for that to work...

and thanks guys, most of you answered my questions and I just learned about inland seas.

Here is my theorys on why we cant go outside the mountains (prepare for it to be wrong):

#1. Outide the basin is a void of nothingness that would destroy us all so the divines wanted to protect us so they put a barrier at the mountains to protect us from the void until the void (or at least pieces of it) can be deemed habitable whatthe.gif

#2. outside the basin is the other iron realms games... whatthe.gif
#3. the admins did'nt make the outside yet content.gif

HUSH. It's bad enough that we use so much Imperial still without you discouraging attempts to improve the situation!

Noah? How long can you tread water?
Eldanien2010-05-01 04:15:53
At least they don't do furlongs per fortnight, and such.

My chemistry teacher made us do that. crying.gif
Shiri2010-05-01 04:21:16
We have fortnights, nothing wrong with that. I keep being surprised by Americans who don't even know what one is.

What's a fortnight? happy.gif
Eventru2010-05-01 06:21:55
Fourteen consecutive nights. AKA 2 weeks.

I was kidding! Most of the people up here I know will say fortnight instead of 2 weeks.
