I discussed making a Lillie into a sparrow furrikin with Sylphas; I guess that merits a post.
o.o Furrikin can be birds? I mean, I know Bollikin created turtles and rockeaters, I didn't think he created any birds though. I thought that was all Trillillial/Isune/Viravain. >.>
A sparrow would be adorable though.

Badger, mouse and stoat furrikins make me think of the Redwall novels. I don't have any actual anthropomorphic or "otherkin" tendencies, personally, but those are still fond memories for me.
I could go for a warrior archetype stoat furrikin, perhaps with a pirate theme... that would be cool.

I'd also like to take the time to (shamelessly) plug my Children of Bollikin clan. If you're Furrikin and interested in building Furrikin culture more, please consider joining!

Sylphas said that Lillie should be a mouse to go with hir shyness, and I jokingly said "He should be a sparrow, since he's so flighty," and things kicked off from there.

It is a bookbinding cartel too so yet another perk! and anyone who is in the clan is more than free to use it as such. Arimisia owns a clan for everything so... lets get furrikin specific stuff going! I already have a throne that fits her royal behind perfectly (though have yet to find someone who can actually make it)

I designed a custom furrikin sized throne for myself a while ago too:
QUOTE
SHORT: a jade throne carved with flowers
DROPPED: Covered with carvings and gems, a jade throne rests on the back of a turtle.
EXAMINED: Crafted from creamy pale green jade, this throne is perfectly sized for a furrikin. Carved into the jade are a plethora of flowers and vines, the elaborate carvings set with emeralds and other sparkling gems to add vibrant colour. Peering out from among the plantlife are the carved images of small animals and birds worked in precious metals. The seat of the throne is covered with a fluffy purple silk cushion embroidered with exquisite floral patterns. In lieu of a dais, the throne rests on the back of a large marble turtle.

Problem is, that doesn't fit Ongaku at all. :< Perhaps I should design my own throne. >.>

'Bat' furrikin would never work - bats were a product of the Taint, or so has been suspected (Viravain would kiss them and remake them into bluejays, when she was attempting to recreate Gloriana - and Viravain made a lot of the animals there).
Remember that generally furrikin are based off of animals that Bollikin probably created (generally believed because he couldn't focus on just one form, or so HELP FURRIKIN says) - foxes, rabbits, little forest fuzzy critters sorts. So you won't see, say, cow furrikin, eagle furrikin, sparrow furrikin, deer furrikin, etc. The exception is bear furrikin (even though Tae created bears).
And I've never seen a rockeater furrikin NPC - not to say there aren't or couldn't be rockeater furrikin, but I, personally, would be skeptical (late creations, probably not really on Bollikin's list of creatures he made that he liked, etc).
And my favourite are, by far, turtle furrikin. Tomtom made me laugh when I first saw him.

Stick googly eyes and a fake mustache on 'em and you've got a winner of the popularity contest.

I think that goes for everyone though.

Fox.
The original!
Not a badger, orca or mutant lionfish, contrary to popular belief.

Couldn't a Furrikin who works closely with the taint mutate into a bat then, since bats are tainted? Just a thought.
And I could've sworn there was a Rockeater Furrikin NPC, but I suppose not. >< It's been a long time since I've looked around Estelbar. I have a big place in my heart for Tomtom too.
And I'm proud to say that - I believe - I am the original Skunk Furrikin. *flex* At least, I've never seen an NPC Skunk Furrikin. But there should be one now!

Crap, now I need to 'reincarnate' Danna. Not only is he not tainted in the least bit, he doesn't like anything to DO with the Taint. Which is odd, for a Serenwilder at the moment, and a dream weaver to boot, but still.
Unknown2010-05-09 08:28:47
Aw, I'm in with the most common Furrikin group, the fox. Well, so much for originality.
At least I'm in good company.

Nah. Tomtom is a turtle. Not a rockeater. It's just suspected that Rockeater-kin are possible because Bollikin made em.
