Hey, so, to get back on topic before we go too far off into price floors and Seren silliness, the point was that the org shops don't really need price controls, because bargain shoppers (which trade ministries and large purchasers are) will almost always be able to get better deals by shopping elsewhere.

Actually it would be nice to restrict by org without enemying, or allow discounts for people we know use comms for defense (trackers), for guild administrators, who get large orders of weapons/instruments made for their newbies, and all such things. It would be pretty handy actually.

No time tonight, but I'll see if I can coax something cheap for you tomorrow and send you a tell/message when it's done. Silk and gems will go lower. Gems are easier, so I'm more likely to do that one. Silk's not worth the time, but it's nice when someone else does it for you.

Hate to get involved in this, but as a person who regularly hunted rockeaters for weeks to get the price to floor out at 108, I can safely say that I have very, very rarely seen it below 108, and never below 100. (It was at 106 one time in Rockholm, about 6 RL months ago, so it CAN be done... It's just very, very rare. )

The first sentence of the first post of this topic would suggest to me that discussion as is does not go beyond the intended bounds of the topic, albeit it has veered far off the specific request of org-comm shop perms.
If it takes a ridiculously large number of comm turn-ins to go below what I and many others believe to be the price floor, then it would have been nice if someone said that instead of just saying "do more comm quests" as though that's never been tried. Romertien's post is suggesting that more to me than anyone else's so far. And if that is the case, suddenly asking all orgs to drop prices such that they are undercutting this village price floor we've been stating would start to make a lot more sense.
