No problem. Weekends tend to bring about dramatic changes in my routine and sleep schedule, so I usually am not on the computer or am just too tired from activities to deal with mafia
Sylphas2010-06-01 00:48:09
Tempted to switch my vote to Zynna for the threat reading fail, but I'll hold off for now and continue farming bot.

I don't wanna randomly lynch someone without any proof! D:

It's day one. Unless someone is really stupid it's kind of random. All we have to go on is some people being baddies at HoN and failing the HoN game roleplay, Zynna missing a few votes, and random votes.

Right, I'm gonna pull a Furien and VOTE SOLANIS , since he is the third person to vote for me, and he started a 'random' band wagon on someone who already had votes. And wtf are you talking about Furien, who said anything about chainsaws?
I thought it was Daganev, not Furien, who first said that the third person to vote for someone is a scum.
The point of a bandwagon is to pile onto someone who already has some votes. 'Random', well, I chose to vote Arix because that was the most recent vote.
@ Furien: By your own logic, you are scum too since you're the third vote on me.

Personally it's not how Zynna missing a few votes that bothers me. It's how she seems to be trying to say "I'm hopping on the hottest bandwagon around, but my vote doesn't matter, so don't mind me". It doesn't sit right with me.

I never said that my vote doesn't matter. Rather, I said that I don't have any strong feelings about anyone, including Arix, at the moment. I could have done a random vote, but it won't advance the day if we have single/double votes on a wide range of people. Better to pressure vote someone and see how they react. Otherwise we'll all just sit here.
Riluna2010-06-01 16:12:00
Ok, sure. I can read it that way too. That still doesn't sit any better with me. "Because I don't have any strong feelings about anybody, I'm not going to try to probe people and get feelings on them. I'm going to simply hop on whatever the most popular bandwagon is so that we can just lynch somebody?"
Dugan2010-06-01 18:05:12
Day 1 is always long, drawn out and almost always uneventful. Things don't normally pick up till after the first night, when people actually have in game things to discuss. And if memory serves me correct, I would guesstimate that the chainsaw mentioned is from a game way before in which Arix used a chainsaw to kill off another player (Celina) because of a scum vibe/long standing hatred of each other. I could be wrong though.

If that's your best bet, I'll be glad to join the thread, because it doesn't work like that. Actively showing awareness of the situation suggests that you won't fall into the regular third-voter trap.
Arix2010-06-01 19:24:08
I used the chainsaw because I made a claim as Edgar and she asked me to prove it
Arix2010-06-01 19:24:52
However, I really don't see why that was brought up here, as it's not really relevant
Casilu2010-06-02 00:07:24
Really, what can we expect from day one. I still push for Silferras since I can only ever not remember her twice being scum, but almost any lynch is as good as any other at this point. No one is standing out.

Hit with the flu out of nowhere, getting better, but anyone who has had it recently knows how it goes.
If there were multiple votes on Arix already (several more than the number of votes on other members, as believed by Zynna), then doesn't that mean there's already pressure on him? And pressure means more clues, right? Furien's vote change seems suspiciously... rapid to me. Unsupported, even. I'm not for lynching the guy who's inactive on the days he has a history of being inactive, I suppose.

??? Does not compute. Best bet meaning defence? Thread meaning bandwagon?
I really don't believe in this 'third-voter trap' thing, it's pretty easy to avoid if you want to.

Not much pressure on Arix anymore. We've got votes pretty evenly spread since that peak on him a bit ago.
Unknown2010-06-02 06:35:18
I'm not interested in getting lynched just because the RNG decided that I've played as scum more than town in my previous games. You'll have to come up with a better reason than that.
It's hard to argue for or against the third-voter-is-scum evidence, but it seems a good a place to start as any. Unvote, Vote: Solanis until I see something else more compelling.
I see what you did thar!
