rune of moribund preservation - 75cr
- may be attached to a nest by a Crow user, permanently setting its carrion to 100
- if the nest decays (due to the totem bond dissolving), the rune is returned to the buyer's inventory
OR
- grants a Crow user an infinite supply of carrion in their belly
OR
- may be attached to a nest by a Crow user
- each day your nest will generate two carrion, rather than expending one
OR
- fills a Crow user's belly with carrion at the dawn of each new day... or month
Something?

Not likely, seeing as it's a class specific thing, I don't see many class specific artifacts around...
And definitly not the infinate carrion thing, can't that be used to satiate hunger? Would be like Jigans thing, only way more over powered when it comes to hunger afflictions.

Ebonguard can also get Crow, so not really that class specific.

Oh now you're splitting hairs. Fine, SKILL specific, other than trade skills there aren't exactly many, and it'd be similar to letting mages flood/taint/forest for free, should not happen.

No, it can't. It's used to power a few skills, though.

What's next, an artifact for Shadowdancer cauldrons making cauldrons produce double shadows or making Choke require less?

It's mainly a small gag item that can be used once every twenty-four hours with a small affect for people.

How about when you eat it, it makes everyone around you slightly hungry?

No, we can't do that. Otherwise it'd just become the next Demigod Zap Squad. Everyone runs in, eats a bunch of twinkies, and then everyone is dying of hunger.
Unless, of course, everyone has a twinkie and eats it. But then, you can't do hunger attrition because obviously, twinkies are overpowered and people can not have any fun.
Screw it, just a twinkie. No effect, no nothing.

Nightwraith allows you to gather double shadows already.

*points to weapon runes* Knighthood only. That's 100% class specific, and there are...
3 stat
3 wound
5 elemental
1 bleeding
so twelve runes total that are absolutely class-specific. Then there are the greatrunes of bigger demesne and the brass astrolabe, which are both skill-specific, so I don't think it's too off the mark to request another one.

Choke only requires that -a- shadow (singular) is released in the room at which you want to cast the skill. Casting itself does not require further shadows. I wouldn't say no to never needing to gather shadows ever again though *ponder*

Elostian's Servant Bell
Ring Bell
Player hears "A soft chime echoes in the back of your mind"
The mental variation of when your ears jerk when you hear a sharp and loud enough noise.
Followers of Elostian know what I'm talking about.

It'd be cool to have more Order specific items. Maybe all the admins would like to design an artifact (like the artifact Symbol of the Gods) that has special powers (like teleporting to fulcrux/god realm). I like Jigan's idea. I wish they had arties for individual divine.
Compass of the Gods
- If you are a member of an order, TOUCH COMPASS to attune it to your god.
- SPIN COMPASS to teleport to your god's fulcrux.
- SHAKE COMPASS to teleport to your god's realm.
Xenthos2009-07-20 00:05:25
That would be really neat.
Lendren2009-07-20 00:55:03
Good idea, I'd buy one.

The difference between eight guilds in all four nations, and two guilds in one nation, is obvious to anyone who isn't sticking their fingers in their ears and humming really loudly in hopes it'll go away. Don't worry about it.

Maybe an artifact that reduced the ammount of endurance it takes to shout?
