I'm quite certain, Lawliet. There's a slight delay before the replica gets deleted in which it can be salvaged, but after that, it's poof.

Only one of the following is a joke.

Hamadhi Lifestone (200cr): Point the stone at up to four denizens to establish a connection to each one. Connections reset at the end of the year. While a connection exists, if you GAZE LIFESTONE 1 you will see the current status of that denizen: alive or dead, health as a percentage, currently fighting someone or not, and where they are (if alive).

Hamadhi Mound (500cr): Manse artifact. In that room (only!), you and your mutual allies regenerate and cure passively as if under divine fire. (Since it's non-portable, this cannot be used offensively, but it can make your safe hideaway a lot safer.) (Edit: The effect stops working if the manse is an undocked aethership, so it can't be used during ship-boarding actions.)

Gilded Mirror: How about a tiny free upgrade to the Gilded Mirror that means, if you're holding one, you're able to sketch/paint/sculpt yourself? It only makes sense.

Codpiece of the Titans (3000cr): Its incredible size proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that yours is the biggest, so you no longer need to kill novices and make pointless, unending raids. Only available for purchase by+++
NO CARRIER

Didn't David Bowie have that one in Labyrinth?

Snow Goggles
While wearing these, even the fiercest blizzard will not prevent you from seeing things. Allows you to ql while in blizzards and still see eveything as if it were only a light snow.

Trans Environment instead.

Sparkleberry gem/Raziela's white stone/Medical kitbag: Allows you to POINT GEM/RUB STONE/APPLY SALVE AT/TO *person/me* to cure a random affliction, at the cost of some equilibrium. Essentially similar to Angelfont "RUB PHIAL" except it can be used on others. More objects that help others but yourself. *nodme*

You remind me of the babe!

What babe?

The babe with the power!

What power?

The power of voodoo!

Who do? Do what?

Remind me of the babe!

Le sigh.

Bowie's giant crotch is so dreamy.

Labyrinth. A movie. Watch it!

A Fain plush doll, that when you speak to it says things like:

"SILENCE! I KILL you!"

"Maggot. Go fetch me a cookie, then kill yourself."

"You're weak. Drop and give me twenty!"

Great Rune of Mortal Benevolence - 500 credits

Doubles the essence value of sovereigns offered to a Divine. Does not work for defiling nor work for anyone but the rune's owner.

Isn't esteem already less than half the price of if we offered gold, though? Esteem is worth something along the lines of 13K gold-essence, it'd still be better to use esteem, no?

If you can get esteem, yes. I think double and no more is reasonable, since it still allows for market flexibility and price to go up. Even then, esteem retains utility for an owner of this artifact for defiling purposes, and it can't be shared across multiple people.

150-200 dingbats would be a reasonable cost as well, if you wanted to make it a Gargle limited edition.

I'd buy one.

EDIT: As an added restriction, it could be completely "offer" only. No sanctification.
Ilyarin2009-08-21 18:01:34
Offer gold doesn't generate the karma that esteem does, IIRC.

Would still buy.

EDIT: Actually, so long as you can only offer up to 1000 sovereigns at a time, I retract that. Man, offering gold is even lousier as is right now than I thought it was.

Ok... but... why? You'd be paying 250 credits for the opertunity of losing money compared to if you'd just got esteem.

The esteem market isn't bottomless. If you can't piece it together from there, then don't worry about it.

I get your point, you can always have gold on you even if you can't find esteem, but seeing as you're making a loss from the average the artifact could probebly do with being a fair bit cheaper.
Esano2009-08-22 04:06:45
Not to mention, at 500 credits ... are you really likely to offer 3.25 million gold? Because that's the point it would break even, with the current credit market (actually a bit below, assuming 6500 per).
