That would be nice but I'm still hoping artisans will get to make bathtubs instead.
no good for my forestmanse, though...
Although, spas do sound like a good idea for artisans.

Stuff best used for auctions:
1. A cartel that can submit designs of all trades. Perhaps with a smaller design/year limit.
2. A (or multiple) unique tradeskill(s). Bought as 'Transcended'.
3. Circlet of Grandeur: your skill levels count as 10% higher for determining the effectiveness of abilities.

Would these be pre-existing tradekills?

I was thinking completely unique at the time, in that you'd craft items that nobody else could craft (say, siege engines, special types of manse rooms). But then I realized that would probably be too complex/imbalanced. So that idea is withdrawn.

The amount of work involved in coding an entire tradeskill, for only one or two people?

Straightjacket of (something appropriate) - Doesn't stop commands from dropping due to astral insanity, but does prevent you from emoting. Perhaps it could just do something subdued, instead such as "Person shivers, looking nervous." OHYEAH.

A gem or something that could give you one random harmony buff a month.
Lokin2009-10-29 20:22:25
Aiyana's Rage: A small wooden box with an angry furrikin's face carved on the lid. Generates a random sammich once a month.
What? Sammiches are delicious.

DOESN'T MATTER!!
To be honest I'd LOVE some proper increasing damage/speed runes that you can affix to mage/guardian/druid weapons, or why CAN'T I make my staff shoot lightning, dammit?!

Would be fun, except I think Geo staff hurts enough as it is, and bleeding runes on cudgels too.

Mage staves can already have a rune on them, a little variety can't hurt.

As I understand it mage staves can only have gripping, shielding or enchantmen put on them.
This is sort of my own little way of angsting about not being able to make my special custom staff actually... special, Y'know?
Esano2009-11-04 06:17:40
Mage staves and druid cudgels can have the exact same runes put on them. And I believe both benefit from magic boosting runes, too, as they're both magic-source damage, so you can get up to a 20% increase that way (although the rune goes on jewelry and affects all such attacks, not just the staff).
