Still want my butterknife of totem carving.

Yeah, that would be a rather handy one. It's darned annoying to find a dozen totems when there aren't any Druids around to carve them...
Xiel2010-07-08 20:43:40
Honestly wouldn't mind seeing utility skill arties like that. I'll take those gloves of enchanting for basic statues and paintings too >.>.

Manse defense artifacts can easily be done without also becoming aethership imbalancing issues by simply making them inactive whenever the manse is not docked. So don't consider that a limitation.
Krellan2010-07-08 21:30:35
Well, I don't see them being much of a manse defense at that point. But there's no harm in having them that way either.

Great Rune of Musical something - Doubles the duration of musicboxes and truetime.
Great Rune of Scroll Enchantment - Doubles the total charges available on a scroll (protection, disruption, healing, curses) and makes the scroll non decay.
Super Juicy Teabag - Doubles the duration of tea ceremonies for yourself or allows teas you sip to tick twice before fading or allows you to have two different tea defenses active, but when one fades, they both fade.

The Silver Spoon already does this part.

I agree, make taking bookbinding entirely pointless.

I would settle for just making a scroll none decay (or be nice and allow rune of enchantment to be placed on scrolls...).
Bookbinders will still be need for those who write. (at worst case, there will always be a need for bookbinders in Hallifax.)

Have you tested this? I was just going off the helpfile below that implies that it doesn't.
Silver Spoon: 150 credits
- All effects from cooking infusions will have their durations doubled.
- Also includes effects from herofetes.

It's not entirely pointless. Just about every item can already be made non decay for 50 credits. It can also be non decay+ resetting for 100. Bookbinders still get magictome for DMP and free charges.

Yes, it's been tested, back when Brewmeister was brand new (so we actually had a few tea ceremonies). All the help files haven't been updated since Brewmeister, but both Silver Spoons and artisan tables, which work for fetes, work the same way for tea ceremonies.

@Lendren cool good to know
Might as well add one for a tea ceremony once per month too.

We can call the Tea Ceremony the UnBirthday-in-a-Box.

Let's avoid things that boost karma and karma blessings, please, ESPECIALLY something that helps the griefers keep their blessings! Were you not around at the invention of Karma?
Krellan2010-07-09 23:30:19
Careful what you wish for. They were going to make seals permanent karma blessings and you guys thought that would be too powerful. Hence, the birth of medallions.
Ssaliss2010-07-09 23:30:31
Wouldn't that do the opposite though, since it would be impossible for them to get rid of the curse (and thus get the blessing) during the duration?
Not that I'm saying it's a good (nor bad) idea.

Do the medallions do anything for the karma blessings (i.e. extended duration or lower cost) or do they "only" allow you to teleport to wherever it is?
Krellan2010-07-09 23:34:34
they give you a cubix+. The ultimate raid tool.
