Arti that wipes you off personal enemy lists using bal/eq.

No.

How about... Gem of the Planar Master, manse gem that, when used, makes it so that you conglutinate within your manse instead of at their Nexus.

I know that's similar to Deepbond in aethercraft but 10 power is a bit much, isn't it?

Or maybe make it an upgrade so that people can conglut to the ship from prime? >.>

I'm pretty sure they already changed it so that magic tomes work without being wielded.

I can confirm that the tome works perfectly without being wielded.

-a music box that would crank out a custom tune that has to go through the mortal review system each time they want something new so that people can't sneak by a combat illusion for something that's supposed to be flavourful and fun!

I've been thinking of suggesting a paintbrush that lets you design paintings the same way. Which reminds me....

Something that lets you take down a painting you've exhibited without destroying it. Doesn't work on enchanted paintings, of course.

Seriously, that shouldn't be an artifact, it shouldn't even be a bloody skill, it should just be a command. At least make it so you can remove paintings you yourself painted, if you're afraid it'll be used for vandalism. But I hate that I can't hang up a painting unless I'm absolutely sure I will never, ever, ever want to move it, because once it's up, it can only be destroyed.

Something whimsical that replicates NATURE GUARD.

We've been asking for that for forever, that and something that lets bookbinders switch their languages. Can be fairly certain it's never happening...

And if it does Krellan will buy it from the auction and never use it tongue.gif

I don't see what's so offensive about the idea. Why would Krellan buy it? Anyway, a year later it'd be released as a general artifact. I can wait a year.

It's one of the few things in the base Nature skill that (though in the course of things is never used) gives it enough sparkle to leave as is, with a few (very good, but still) skills.

More importantly: It's also pretty powerful, because it lets you have herbs skip their hibernation. If it was an artifact, no herbs in the entire basin would ever hibernate, because you can bet every herbalist would use the heck out of it, and lend it out to be used the heck out of. That's my theory, at least.
Xiel2011-03-23 03:00:53
Nature's Orb already prevents an herb from hibernating and as far as I've seen, this hasn't brought any harm to the herb market but rather, helped it along. I've no problem with an artifact that can do Nature Guard, but since I don't think they'd do that, I think I'll just stick to my one day wishlist envoy item of introducing Air and Fire herbs that'll guard/growth rooms.

Now, back to auction and artifact ideas! I would like an artifact that would let me link more than 1% at a time from the nexus, plz.

Infinate food. Ish.

A food item that gives moderate filling that can be eaten once a month/takes a month to reset.

This would allow forgetful people like me to have at least some food on them for emergancies, but isn't powerful enough for people to call hax and say it'd destroy the cacophony or anything.

Hm.. A Farmer's Basket - Once a month you can pull a delicious farm-fresh from it! This (insert food here) will completely fill you up and give you a slight constitution bonus for one hour?

Could even vary between con/health/dex bonuses, depending on item. However, make the item decay after 1-2 months, please.

As much as I want to, as a cook, say "NOYOU'RETAKINGAWAYFROMOURBUSINESS", I like this idea.

Edit: Erm, 1-2 RL days/1-2 IC months.
Lendren2011-03-23 14:39:16
Cooks have business? wink.gif

But to play devil's advocate, the difference between this and something like a manse fountain is that any kind of food is functionally equivalent to any other. So getting a random alchemical product once in a while will never do more than erode a bit of an alchemist's tradeskill, but a random food item every month pretty much eliminates 99% of a cook's business. Doubly so if the resulting food can be shared or resold.

Now, if the food that came out was bland-but-nutritive, this would be cool. A dystopian-future's version of food, in the form of unnaturally-colored, bland cubes of processed food product, each of which was fully nutritious and had some random bonus, but totally boring as food, would be great. It might even increase cook business by virtue of the sharp contrast. This might make a great dingbat item: a gnomic Nutritive Substance Extruder. Pull a lever and some random product is extruded in an entirely unappetizing way onto a dispenser with a wet shluuuurrp sound, where it jiggles slightly. Imagine the RP possibilities of either loving or hating the results.
Mirami2011-03-23 14:52:47
Could also have a 10-30% chance of having a negative effect (poison?), so you never quite know if you want to eat it.
Enyalida2011-03-23 17:23:40
dispenser of soylent green.

How about and upgrade for the ledger that allows you to see prices in other cities/communes? Maybe like 100 credits more than the ledger, so 450 total?

And the ability for either the ledger or the upgrade to search all villages/orgs for one commodity, instead of displaying all commodities for one village/org?

That's easy to do client-side.

An artifact to let Researchers/Illuminati harvest more than one gem/flesh at a time.
Enyalida2011-03-24 17:57:26
An artifact to let Stag and Crow users rune (but not bond) more then one totem. The totems would still decay on their normal timers and the runes would be lost when they reverted.
