Just now got around to reading this, and it's quite awesome. Ongaku's never liked Tsumadine (well, he did at one point, but then she turned out to be a word I won't say here), and Haiden... yeah. No discipline at all. He took power from Ongaku without asking at one point, and when Ongaku gave him hell for it, Haiden just continued to defy him. It was extremely frustrating, considering how hard I'd worked to get Marquis only to have someone not only not listen to me, but to backtalk me without conviction.

Then again, this is Haiden we're talking about. I need to learn how to address situations like that as well as you did, Shaddus. Of course, I think I did pretty well over CT with the Vhaedryn/Jigan incident earlier.

It's my opinion that posting of RP logs too close to it happening is bad form.

I don't see how it's bad form. It was something that happened in game, and it was awesome. Post it on the forum and share with everyone. Besides, how long do you believe people should have to wait before posting RP logs? After a while, they become irrelevant. >.>

For the record, I didn't post this to laugh at Tsumadine, poke fun at her or even make a point. Half of the reason was because I thought it was interesting reading (I've read it about twelve times myself), and half is because I wanted people's opinions on whether I was an ass or not, or whether I handled it well.

I try to make all of my characters have different personalities. Shaddus is unassuming, guileless, and basically wants to help out. He loves to talk and instruct, and he's a loveable ass.

Now that I think about it I probably wouldn't have been holding haidens hand or babying him when he cried so I guess I wouldn't be stuck in this situation anyway.

The image I got in my head of Vathael hugging Haiden close, stroking his hair and cooing soft, loving words to him as Haiden weeps against his chest is absolutely priceless though.

Raezon and Morgfyre would be better imo. Haiden and Vathael is still absolutely hysterical (and slightly sexy) to me.

Well it's just an opinion really and I know that's not how usually things work here.

As for reasoning it's mainly because it is an RP log that has to do with political or relational ties in game. If you really want to separate RP from OOC knowledge then that's one step to avoid OOC breach. See if I was involved in that in someway (which my character actually is in a way), I would have rather had it as my character learning of such things in game instead of me(the player) reading it on the forum; something that can sometimes confuse me as to what I know or don't know in game.

I just think if you really wish to do plots or what not in a game like this, you need to control OOC sharing to some extent. It doesn't need to be policy just as general etiquette.

For how long, in some RP games people say, give or take, a RL year after the ending of a plot. And the whole point is because then it wouldn't be relevant.

Again it's my opinion and just stating it incase you'd tend to agree. If not, oh well.

As for you being an ass... well better for you to find out ingame who thinks Shaddus is. As for OOC, personally, I don't think you're an ass in real life for trying to be an ass in game.
