But you're from Gaudiguch! Flesh on Fire is supposed to be OK!

Way to stereotype us. :< 12 out of 13 people in Gaudi right now can't use fire anyway.
Gregori2010-07-05 18:37:14
yeah, strangely enough, only the Illuminati astrologers can actually set things on fire without using an ignite enchant. Those pyromancers are just posers.

Yeah, but they use cactus weed, same thing.
Chalcedony2010-07-05 18:43:54
And we don't have an astrolabe yet. :<
Rika won't let me. She says it's bad for my long-term health.

How in the hell can Gaudi and Hallifax be at war when half of both orgs are frick'n Talnaras?

If you're letting a Hallifaxian order you around, then you're not very Gaudiguchian. How do you feel about spying?

We were given a really pretty astrolabe for just the cost of the outdoor room to house it, just fyi. Having issues, or just bureaucratic slowness? Would seem odd, given that that's -our- schtick...

Gaudiguch? Clearly in-fighting.

Nah, we are just waiting on Kalikai to respond to Aiyana, if she hasn't already. Aiyana was gone all weekend and only just got a chance to message Kalikai this morning about having the gold and comms for it. So we should have it soon.
Edit:: Also we have an org where lots of people have piles of gold and want shiny things.. but nobody wants to pitch in to get them unless there is a credit sale. Which is why it took RL months to get our stage and why since buying the stage 2 months ago we have only generated about 2 million gold towards our arena that everyone wanted.

Oh, good then. Tell us how it turns out! Ours is really cool.
(And so is the new stockroom for our guild tutor, yum. I'll go post it in raves, maybe.)

There's no such thing as a good org in Lusternia.
I've always been of the mindset that every org should always RP that they are the "good" org--being that their org knows what's best for everyone, has the moral high ground, and is convinced that they will ultimately be seen as 'right' historically. While RP of "I'm-evil-and-will-bring-the-end-of-the-world" or "I'm-chaos-and-will-destroy-everything-in-my-path" might be fun camp, it generally doesn't have the sustainability that more nuanced RP of true believers who are working towards the betterment of society.

While we're not snuggly, cuddly, or really very loud over our public aethers, I'd like to think Glomdoring has a good balance between discipline and the general approachability of our leaders. It would be easy to spend our time ignoring those who are not cut and dry NMBG material, but sustaining relationships with each part of the whole is part of what it takes to come together as a group. When your population is split to the point that factions have radically opposing viewpoints, trouble will be forthcoming.

See, that's how I feel like I play Ongaku. He's a good guy! He loves his tainted org! He just apparently isn't allowed to act like it in public.
