Should I forget beastmastery to get back the 4-5 lessons I would get from such a feat?

In regards to constitution in athletics, how does it work? Is it that every time you get hit with vomiting you have a chance of shrugging it off? How much do those chances look like?

Didn't there use to be a command that showed you all the quests you did and how far you were in them or somesuch? I am not sure.

HONOURS FULL ASHTERU will show you the quests you did, but there was never any "how far you were in them." More like, that isn't even tracked, most quests are just linear tasks not even tied to specific people, so someone can ninja the line if they can get there before everything respawns.

Oh boy...I think I royally screwed up my lessons. Do truefavours temporarily double the lessons invested or something? >_> I really didn't take notice and now if it reverts, I know I'm going to lose all the skills I just learned when I could have made better use of them otherwise... *sigh*

A truefavour boosts your skill ranks by one, basically. It's probably best not to learn when you have any truefavours, if you're going for specific marks.

Yeah, you're fine. The lessons you put in are still there if they can be, regularly. Otherwise, if you hit trans for real, the lessons are returned.

This isn't true, but the bottom line is accurate: lessons are not wasted.

The way it works is a TF boosts the 'skill points' in a given skillset by x%. So (all BS numbers) if 100 is trans, and x is 25 - if you learn until you can't learn anymore, you're at 125/100. You've spent, total, 100, and the extra 25 comes from the TF.

If you learn JUST to trans, when the favour wears off, you'll be wherever you need to be that the +25% from a favour will put you at 100/100.

Make sense? I hope so.

Basically I had some benchmarks of flex in athletics and focus mind in discipline. I sort of spent indiscriminately until I hit them, checking AB every one in a while. Then, I noticed I had a crap load of lessons still so learned some other things and spent all. Technically, if the truefavor was temporary then I didn't lose lessons, but it means that I'm not really at the benchmarks I originally thought I was at? That's what I mean. If so, I feel like a tool >_> Should have noticed something was amiss

In this case, yeah, if you didn't notice the TF you spread yourself out wrong. I was just trying to point out that even if you learn up to Transcendent (for real - your TF will put you 'past' it but you can still learn) the system won't let you dump/waste lessons past it.

What Eventru means in brief is, the LEARN command does not pay attention to your favors when deciding whether to say "no, you can't learn more". Thus, you won't waste lessons.

Yeah, this sucks. Maybe when you do AB , if you have a TF, there should be a big YOUR SKILLS HAVE BEEN BOOSTED BY A TRUEFAVOUR at the bottom of the ability list.

Better idea: highlight all skills gained by TF in a different color.
