It's possible to put a bookshelf in every indoors location of a guild. However, you can't have two bookshelves in the same location (even though a pantograph allows for it.) It won't store twice as many books, it'll just use only the one bookcase and the other will be obsolete.

How can I get to the Shattered Earth without using the convenient rifts? I only ask because I cannot find the convenient rift in the crystal meadows that leads to it.

You have to solve the puzzle in the meadows towards the Earth obelisk deal.

Is that the only way? I seem to remember there being an entrance somewhere in the Undervault, but that was a while ago.

That'll take you to the Taerin Passages, which serves as the main entrance to the Crystal Meadows.

So yeah, you get to play that 15-block slider puzzle thing that would come in all your Kid's Meals at Burger King, but with no way more text, headache and thumbs giving you a comparatively smaller advantage.
