About plays. Is there any time limit for when to submit, besides having to be an odd year?
By the end of the sixth month of the odd year. This is a legacy of back when voting mattered, to ensure people couldn't submit on the last day and deprive the rest of the world of a chance to review and vote. It should probably be removed now.

It really should be, was annoying.

Greater Rune of Demesnes: worth it?

Rivius's aura of weapons rebounding disappears.
With a focused look, Rivius strikes at you with a loboshigaru rapier, and you make ready with a hammer of blackened iron. With a flick of your hammer, you easily deflect Rivius's rapier.
With a deft move, you retaliate with a quick swing of a hammer of blackened iron at Rivius, who partially parries the blow with a loboshigaru rapier. You strike him in the gut, but it barely fazes him.

Is riposte supposed to be parryable? o.O If so, why? Aren't the lash-back attacks usually unparryable/stancable?
Reposting that since the question wasn't answered and I'm curious about the answer.

Yes, without doubt.
Edit:
If I'm telling you to get an artifact, it's definitely worth it.
Shamarah2010-11-19 00:43:21
Ok, that's what I thought, figured I should just make sure.

Greater Rune of Demesnes:
Should an artifact be necessary for you to do your job appropriately, especially after the appropriate 1-room-demesne-effect-range nerf?

I miss my 50 room meld.
Furien2010-11-19 02:16:26
That's too much.
15 or 20 as a default is fine, 30 at max, 40 at absolute limit... but 10 as a default? yeesh.

Part of the reason I didn't (haven't) got into combat sooner is from that nerf, I would have gladly have paid 200 credits for a 50 room demesne.

Yes, please. It's pretty hard to properly defend if I can't cover enough of the area to help out. And since the only way to move a demesne around is to either dissolve (meaning I have to put effects back up if they are up, which means another 1 power gone that could have been used elsewhere) or breaking a few rooms and remelding.
Some questions:
Is the time on bubble randomized? I was told yes, but wanted to check.
Do phantoms and claws, just automatically sync up their ticks? I usually see them end up ticking at the same time, even if used at completely different times.
How long do they last? I believe phantoms is 90 seconds, and claws 60, but not completely sure.
What's the focus body time for someone with trans discipline?
Lorina2010-11-19 08:41:55
Sooooo, I am not really an artifacts person...
But I was wanting to buy the magical enhancement rune...the first level one..Mystic Might.
Say at a later time I wanted to upgrade it. Would I have to pay another 800 on top of that to get the second level, arcane force or would the first level roll on over to the new rune?
Oh and if we do upgrade, do we lose the item we attached the rune to?

Well, I suppose the answer is yes because I sparred a few times yesterday and my coules were getting stanced out of. It's strange to me because I guess I never picked it up in my own triggers, but apparently yes.

How does the time scale with lessons invested?

Yes it is, it's just a normal hit after all.
