If you AFK in a manse, you're fine.

It would be nice if HELP AFK would be clearer on this, because when I read it, it seems so say all AFK is bad.

I know manses are tolerated, which is where I go and sit when doing guild advancement stuff or work on code projects, both which mean I am not afk but will make it look to others like I were, because for example I am looking at the second screen or simply buried in lines of script.

If you're AFKing at the Pool of Stars and you have 8 issues filed and a dozen bugs and an administrator is trying to get a hold of you for 3 hours while you've triggers spamming ql every 15 minutes to keep you from timing out, you're likely to get a small rolepoint dock and your connection ditched.

It varies, honestly, and is situational. Should never be punished just for AFKing in a docked manse.

Thank you. smile.gif I would -never- AFK at the Pool of Stars or any nexus - waaay too much spam. I'll take my locked, sigil'd room any day.

Is there any way to clear your reflex pool from nexus? I have a half built project in there that is...well, huge.

Yes. If I remember right, you can import a blank script file (might have to set a .xml file that has
CODE

, and use the 'clear and then import' function or some such, if I remember right. Either that, or go to Archives, clear one of the old ones, and load that?

A mindlink allows you to link your mind with other telepaths. While very few abilities use it, it does allow communication between telepaths from almost any plane.

Does this bypass the planar limitations? Could I use this to contact someone on Astral even if not up to Aetherwave?

Also: Not sure if it's supposed to work like this or not. But should someone not be able to follow you if you center from outside your demesne? I know it works inside, but if you center from outside your demesne, anyone following you is left behind.

Mindlink functions anywhere. I mean anywhere! Very handy. It does bypass planar limitations since it has none.

And to the center question, not sure. I am sure they did that to negate someone from bringing a party all the way from one point to another without a teleport target in that area. Only thing I can think of as an excuse.

Then it's not working right, because people can't hear me from prime to aetherspace.
It's only useful on Prime really, and even then, it's an extra 2-3 power. The power cost to center from outside, and one person to teleport with everyone else following.

Depressingly, I accidentally transferred all of my Elite Membership credits to this character (the 3 kicked out the 1 in 100). I really, really, don't want them all to be there. Is there any way to reverse this?

The pain of ritualistic inquisition subdues your actions.

What sort of actions does inquisition subdue, and which does it not?

As far as I know it's a straight up stun.

It's not actually the stun effect, you get a different line when you try to do something, but yeah, it blocks all actions just like a stun.
Sylphas2010-12-05 07:00:09
For Bodyguard to function, do you have to actually be mounted? It will make me really sad if I have to choose between that and the pet I designed (that I could enlarge to mountable size, but really don't want to).
Esano2010-12-05 07:21:40
No.

B-flat, f sharp, and everything else. If I incorporate it into my emotes, is it considered insane? Or songs as well.

Not at all. That is all perfectly IC. In fact, a miniquest uses musical notes in a puzzle.

That thing drove me NUTS until I got a half decent strategy for it.

What causes this to show up/happen in a room?
