Why are membership credits transferred onto characters as bound? They're bought with real money, so one would think they'd be unbound. (Gained through OOC means.)

I'm going to guess it's so that the in-game value of credits doesn't get driven into the ground by people with memberships, and that there's still an incentive to buy credits normally.

There's also that bonus lesson incentive you get for converting credits into bound credits - they're probably hoping that will still cause people to buy them the normal way too.

This depends on a lot of things. If you get a lot of artisan work, pantograph is nice. Mask is VERY nice if you influence a lot. Crit + Life rune are very useful if you bash a lot. I wouldn't go for post office or newsroom personally. Just walk your lazy but to the ones in the city. tongue.gif

I'm a pilot that can do dragons. Though I'll only do one trip a day/month, and MOST of what I get is through normal bashing (Catacombs when I'm not being jumped by Celedoring.)

I can be casual, cause if I lose it again, friends like Arandor and Nataely will push me to get it back.

Never trade in artifacts.

This rule generally serves me pretty well, excepting the duplicate artifacts I've received here and there. Those ones can get traded!

What he said. As someone who has lost probably a cubix worth of credits switching guilds and trading in artifacts and swapping skills, it's really sound advice.

Looking to add a rune to a two-handed sword. What stats are optimal in order to allow runes for a pvp katana, and for a hunting katana? I know the whole 463 thing, but I suck at math.

I know I've seen copper and bronze used before, but I can't figure out what comm it'd be counted under. Ushaara suggested iron, but I dunno! Anyone able to help?

I believe iron tends to be used as any non-commodity metal, yes, although I've also heard arguments for using the commodity that best resembles the metal (in which case you might use gold for those two).

How does a rune of absorption and bodyguard stack? Can both of them fire on the same hit, or do their percentages stack so that you have a 22.5 chance of absorbing a denizen attack?

If they can both fire on the same hit, does anyone better at statistics than me know what that makes the overall percentage chance of absorbing be? Do you just take the average?
