When did Epic Quests arrive? I kind of just looked around one day and... they were there.
Awhile ago now.

Are the dwarves back from their strike yet? Tithes seem way low...
I think a lot of (all) the villages are still messed up. (I feel like everything was just finally working correctly, too. Stop touching taps!) Some individual comms seem to be working, but others are completely wrong. We have something like 4 of every metal in Ixthiaxa, and receive tithes of 1-2, when we have all the miners. Even after a couple of days it should be increasing somewhat. Same situation with Estelbar and the fruit/veg/grain... and then things like wood seem to be just fine. Regardless, it's not just you.

It seems to be partially based off of how much inventory the village shop has at any given time, and that seems to be influenced by how readily you can agitate it up, since passive production appears lower if stock is also low.
The stock of everything dropped every day that the village shenanigans kept up.
Annoyingly cyclical.

Yes, I am cringing slightly at the thought of it not being fixed soon. There's always the issue of the things that can't be reasonably quested and the ones the villages just silently produce, so I'm don't think that jumpstarting production on them is going to work.

I've noticed that designs I've submitted in the past month-ish that go through on the first try get accepted really fast, but the ones that get rejected sit in submit for about a week or so after they're re-submitted.
I've got one that's been in queue since early November. And the raincoat ensemble I submitted when the storms started is still not fully approved -- two parts got approved but a third virtually identical one is just sitting there. Too bad the moment is long, long past.

If I currently have 347 lessons, Inept Beastmastery, and Trade in Aethercraft, would it be more worth my while to get up to Purser in Aethercraft or BeastEmpath (I think) in Beastmastery?

Aethercraft seems the obvious choice... especially if you ever go aetherhunting and if you want to participate in flares

Alright, quick question. Where are the four newest villages? Namely Ptoma, Ixthiaxa, Rikenfriez, and Talthos? There aren't any help scrolls on the first three.

Ptoma and Ithiaxa are in the undervault, Rikenfriez is by the Glacier place, and Talthos is in the northern mountains, by the hills that lead into Serenwilde.
Unknown2010-12-24 17:59:22
Ptoma is near the western entrance (the one on the mountains, near the Dwarf shrine), and Ixthiaxa is on the Illwater Lake.

Ah, many thanks. I figured there would have had to be some in the Undervault by now, and the other two make sense.

I know how you all feel. I submitted something kinda disturbing last night and it is still sitting there. I know, crazy.

Since my robes decayed when I was away, I had to get some new ones, and I noticed that my previous assumption of the sum of the two stats being 100 does not always hold true, which raises some questions:
What is the highest possible sum of stats?
What makes some robes have a higher sum than others?
And just to be sure, 60 is the highest single stat can get?

I doubt there's a highest single stat. From my (granted, limited) experience, you can enchant a set of robes 74 times (normal) or 76 times (splendours). Each enchantment can either do nothing (20%), raise one stat one point (30% each) or raise one stat 2 points (10% each).

Anything causing there being so little bromides on sale? Last month with the greathunt there was already very little available, but it seems the trend is continuing.

Uhhmm.. I think there aren't as many alchemists around because most bards and wiccans went off to Hallifax/Gaudiguch, and they don't have guilds that can be alchemists yet.

I try to keep it stocked! It just...tends to go in like, 2 RL days. No complaints though.

Simple question.
How tall are the gnomes in Lusternia? Are they the halfling sized beings we got used to in D&D, or are they the really short Garden Gnome variety.

And even if they do have the herbs, they expect you to make a keg for free half the time. Powerstones and my time both have costs attached.
