So Estarra is listing a lot more new areas than I thought. Anyone want to give a bit of an overview on stuff from the last six months or so? I've been to the Tar Pits, Talthos, the Meliashmora, and Project Eternity, but what about the other ones?

ship proficiencies
Pilot: 61%
Combateer: 91%
Empath: 59%
You have exhausted your ability to train your Aethercraft proficiencies.

Does this mean I can't adjust my proficiencies anymore at all? D:

Bad double post. Bad
Razenth2011-01-06 08:20:09
No, it just means you can't adjust for the month.

Hrm, it's been like that for a while now though... since the start of the aether rings thing.

Might be you've hit the max total %s, and if you keep using one, the other two will drop.

So... What do I do with the onyx seed I'm given from the end of the Xion quest?
Ileein2011-01-07 13:31:22
I think (but am not sure) that you have to drop it on one of the elemental planes. Or possibly the Prime plane. I've never actually finished the quest. But there's a portal/rift/something that springs up linking Prime and Elemental, I'm pretty sure.

Yeah, found out if I dropped it on any naturally tainted land (Only place I could think of was the blasted lands) it created a pretty awesome spire that you enter that leads straight to earth. Apparantly only lasts for a month or so, but I'm liking it.

Same thing... or different? Because if they're different, then that's just... stupid.

The Brewmeisters make the dried tea leaves necessary for brewing the tea. But they don't get to have access to all the nice tea designs.
Sylphas2011-01-07 20:00:40
Calling them Brewmeisters and then only allowing them to brew the most very basic of them is still ridiculous. I know plenty of brewers IRL, and none of them are limited to recipes made by others (and no one that simply manufactures the ingredients would call themselves a brewer, let alone a master of it).

Is there a shortcut for reading healing scrolls? You can't use READ HEALING, since that'll try to read a vial most of the times, and you can't READ SCROLL, since that very well could read the wrong scroll.

EDIT: Also, I believe someone pointed out when it was best to use a scroll, but I can't find it. At what percentage should you read it?
Sylphas2011-01-07 21:21:04
Check magiclist, read by number.
Enyalida2011-01-08 00:30:58
Can spellcrafters have multiple statues bonded and firing runes at once? Do statues even need to remain bonded to fire runes? I suspect that the answers are 'no, yes', but I seem to vaguely remember them being either 'yes, yes' or 'no,no'...
Rivius2011-01-08 00:32:50
What does the life challenge mean by "save the most denizens"? Save them from what?

One spellcrafter can theoretically be bound to every statue in the Basin and they will all work.

From Death...
Ssaliss2011-01-08 00:39:09
I think that's the challenge where you run around and give stuff to the denizens in order to heal them? Or, I'm way off, and I think of something completely different.
