Sorry for belated response.
Thanks, Arel. I'll keep that in mind.
I seriously doubt it. I use paintings to get to my orgs' loyal villages, it takes a mere few seconds. I'll go from one to another to another and it happens with all of them. It seems against-the-odds that someone is going in, buying, and leaving ALL those villages within those few seconds. But thanks for the response.

Mine works fine. Every time I see the situation you described, it's because someone else got there before me. This is less unlikely than you'd think: some people have access to Tarot or the Death domoth map, and can get to villages really fast, and do so fairly often -- because the new commodity system really rewards people who grind a lot at going to the villages often.

What does/doesn't the aetheric quickening ring affect?
Off the top of my head, I can say it affects teleport, tesseract, ascend to havens, pyramid, moon beam, and totem return.
It does not affect ghostwalk and was confirmed as not being meant to.
Currently bugged for prized return - I'll get back on that once the bug is resolved.
Everything else is unknown to me.

Does anyone know how much experience TrueFavors grant when they fade?
It's a pittance. I can't remember exactly, but I want to say 10 to 30k essence.

Also, can someone give me the tick times and total times for the following delayed insta-kills? :
- Judgement
- Decapitate
- Chasm
- Soulless
- Dirge/Bardoon/Requiem/Threnody
and any insta-kills that currently escape me?
Thanks a lot!

Judgment has intermediate messages at 4 and 8 seconds and kills at 12.
Chasm and Decapitate have an intermediate message at 5 seconds and kill at 10.
Soulless has no intermediate messages and kills at 8.
I think Music instakills have intermediate messages at 5 and kill at 10, but I'm not positive about that.
Also keep in mind that different things stop different instakills.

Bard songs are 4/8

Thank you so much guys! How about meteor? Do you have tick times for those?
Kiradawea2011-01-21 00:33:00
I don't think there are any tick times. But it takes 6 seconds and nothing can stop it beyond leaving the room.

There actually is a warning message for Meteor a second or two before it hits. I

Ah. Well, the tick time isn't relevant. You can be bound, gagged, prone, paralyzed with two amputated arms. Meteor is unique in that you can even attack while the meteor is arriving. This is because it isn't technically an insta kill. It's just pretty high damage.

It is theoretically an instakill at six negative spheres, but I've never seen a day yet where that was possible.
Rivius2011-01-21 01:26:02
Ah, I know it wasn't an insta. Just wanted to know the time period between its casting and the final hit. If it's six seconds, then thanks again!
Kiradawea2011-01-21 01:26:07
Yah. You can usually only stick four spheres onto someone. Since out of five negative spheres, two are opposites. It is the second closest thing Lusternia has to a charged attack. The closest being Crystaltools.

You'd have to get lucky with papaxi randoming things negative.

Is there any fundamental difference in the behavior of pinleg and impale gut, or do they behave just about the same?

I think you can perform some curing stuff while impaled.
Unknown2011-01-21 18:40:45
Impale counts you as prone (p in prompt), pinleg doesn't.

Does the level of training in low magic effect the amount damage caused by moonburst?

Yes.

Right, it used to prone iirc though. Hmph impaling nerfs.
