Is it possible for a manse dweller to have reactions based on when certain times of the day come and go?

Or is this a question best saved for artifacts@lusternia.com?

Theoretically it's probably possible. You'd need to e-mail artifacts@lusternia.com though.

Alright... there is some correspondence between the Astral Spheres and each org's monk guild. For example, Scorpio (scorpion) is linked to Nekotai, though revisionist history has explained the real connection lays with Grandmother Scorpion. The Shofangi's use of Bull links to Taurus? Supposedly? Supporting detail about the Great Spirit of Bull has yet to emerge. Celest's Tahtetso matches Cancer (crab) with some aquatic themes. Though, this leads me to wonder what the Ninjakari have to do with sea-goat (i.e. Capricorn). Sahmiam, please explain.

In separate, but parallel, line of thinking... will Jojobo monks tie into Leo lions? How about Ackleberry relate to some Libra sense of justice. How about Hallifax monks relating to Aires or Gemini... What about Gaudiguch? What could be in store for them... Thoughts? Speculations?

The city monks have nothing to do with their respective Astral spheres.

We tried a rather vague attempt at a connection to the Taurus a while ago but it didn't go through. Basically the Taurus/Scorpio thing is scrapped until further notice. I can explain it in PMs if you want in case you want to do something with it anyway, but I wouldn't get your hopes up (we've ended up trying something else more spirit-related anyway.)

If Hallifax and Gaudiguch were linked to Astral though, it'd be Gemini and Sagittarius. The in-game astrology system (dragon, twin crystals) is set up this way and there's a couple easter eggs in the room descs for those spheres.

The thought of that is utterly hilarious, even if there is no canon connection.

Capricorn is actually the cardinal earth sign, which would relate best to Magnagora's affinity to it(Geomancers). Sea-goat is just an imagery.

As quoted from Wikipedia:

QUOTE
The symbol of the goat rising from the body of a fish represents with greatest propriety the mountainous buildings of Babylon rising out of its low and marshy situation.

EDIT: Oh, your actual question was what do the MONK guilds have to do with their astrological sign.
I'm just making this up right now, but I'd guess Capricorn, as relating to the above quote would have to do with the protection and contribution to Magnagoran development and the balance of society. Or something like that...

EDIT2: If I'm not mistaken, Magnagora was once part of the Celestine Empire(which is referred to as the Time of Weakness)? It would make sense that the body of a fish transformed into a land creature, walking on it's own feet as opposed to floundering in mud. They don't call it the Engine of Transformation for nothing.

Then again I am pulling this all out of my behind.

It makes perfect sense though, the way you explain it!

Who is the oldest person in Lusternia? (meaning normal players, not the Gods and Goddess peoples and minus the ones who had the age thing done to them with that Aeonics stuff.)

I've got a bunch.

1. Can any suit or gown pattern be a greatrobe-style suit? (i.e. with the nice stats)

2. Can any weapon pattern be a master weapon?

3. What exactly is a master weapon and how can I tell if I've got one?

4. Is there any way to 'upgrade' from a regular suit or non-master weapon short of getting a new one?

No. Masterweapons are separate from standard weapons.

3. What exactly is a master weapon and how can I tell if I've got one?
They are Masterweapons under the Forging skill, which is separate from the skills of Swords, Axes, etc. Masterweapons have higher stats than a standard weapon does.

4. Is there any way to 'upgrade' from a regular suit or non-master weapon short of getting a new one?
No. Luckily with weapons, you can smelt them and the metal commodities used will be returned, and can thereby be re-used in a different design.

Nope. They have to be specifically submitted as a Greatrobes pattern. Other suits/gowns are just High Fashion. Same as enchantable hats; they have to be specially designed as Greatrobes hats.

Is it true that the essence pool for a god/dess's character is cleared whenever they get a new player?
