Can I add that one to the wiki?

Sure, go ahead!

Subj: New Beast Reagent & Powerplex Jewels

We've added a new beast reagent:

Kikikoru Reagent: 25 credits
- BEAST ADMINISTER
- This will permanently add 25 extra trains to your beast.
- One use only!
- Stackable up to 10 doses (i.e., cannot use over 10x on one beast).

We've also updated the powerplex jewel so it acts as a powerstone,
refilling to 100% efficiency at the start ever every month.

Penned by My hand on the 2nd of Urlachmar, in the year 292 CE.

Uh. Does that mean it will no longer bestow power into your own reserves? And does this affect existing jewels or just the ones bought from now on?

Edit: Also, if it "acts as a powerstone" does that mean it can't be used for power-requiring skills such as Aethersight (I'm not even sure if regular powerstones can do that)?
Eventru2011-03-26 22:03:03
It means it does what it used to on top of what it does now. And all powerstones function this way from now on, including previously purchased ones.

Powerplex Jewels: 250 credits
- These amazing jewels bestow 5% to the energy reserves of its owner at
the start of every month.
- If the power reserves are at 100%, it will increase the power beyond
even this amount (to a maximum of 125%).
- These jewels _are_ stackable, i.e., owning more than one will have a
cumulative effect.
- Finally, these jewels act as powerstones, refilling to 100% capacity
at the start of every month.

And I'd imagine it affects all jewels.

That made that artifact more appealing!
Rancoura2011-03-26 22:05:38
Aha, wonderful. And you all responded before I added my edit.

Here, I use this myself- I took the up to date aetherspace map and labelled it. It's only prime, though. I don't have any for the other planes.

That's pretty sweet. Thanks!

Re: Pilot profs: Unless I'm so incredibly unlucky that I should avoid going outside for fear of simultaneous lightning strikes burning my winning lottery ticket, something seems to be broken. I suppose I'll bug it and/or msg Roark about it.

Fudge, I can't. Image uploads have been broken for months and months on the wiki.

Could still link to it, though that's less desirable.
Lendren2011-03-26 22:53:59
Yep, did that.

Powerplex jewels don't show % when probed, should we bug it?
Unknown2011-03-27 04:31:59
Some other people commented on that. They think it will at the new month since the powerplex jewels refill every month.

Oh, that makes sense.

You point your staff at a golden retriever and it swells, rapidly discharging a torrent of poisonous fumes and sharp rocks into his body, engulfing flesh and spirit with deadly venoms.
A golden retriever springs to a golden retriever's defence.

What would cause this? The only thing I can think of is a custom pet with the same name and keywords as the tracker pet, but that seems like a really bad idea.

It was Inagin's really bad idea. He got a pet that looks exactly like his tracking companion.

Mine still doesn't show anything when I probe it, but haven't had a chance to try to use it.
