I think that applies to a lot of guilds. tongue.gif

Speaking of, are there any competent Celestines atm?
Calixa2011-04-20 09:42:40
I'm sure it has been asked before, but which are the different ranks of sanity?
Esano2011-04-20 12:15:54
completely sane
slightly neurotic
neurotic
highly neurotic
sociopathic
psychopathic
stark raving mad

I wasn't aware of that last one. I wanna drag some dwarf up to Astral and make him stand around shouting for obscure commodities until he hits it. o_o
Esano2011-04-20 16:15:25
I've only reached it by holding the Hamster/Staff for obscene amounts of time. I remember that after I hit it during Chaos, I used Truth, and dropped to socio. So it's somewhere around twice as high as socio. Good luck....
Calixa2011-04-20 18:43:04
Oh yeah, forgot all about Truth, that should come in handy. suspicious.gif

Ok, one more question. From the help files:

QUOTE
Advanced stages of insanity will cause mental ailments to spontaneously occur.

Do you recall around what level of insanity that started to kick in, and what one can expect? Any Astral bashers familiar with this? I'm basically wondering at what point I should relocate to Prime / Nil to recover.
Razenth2011-04-20 18:49:22
Relocate when it starts interfering badly enough with your sipping/sparkle/scroll that you need to manual frequently.

This will depend on system robustness.
Unknown2011-04-20 18:59:41
It really depends on if you're in a group or not, and how determined your group is to helping you, or if it's everyone for themselves.

You really should leave astral to recover once you hit around highly neurotic if you are solo-bashing. Sure, you could probably keep up longer, but at that point you're unlinking often enough and taking long enough to kill that you might as well go back to prime and bash stuff there. It's roughly the same results, and you stop accumulating insanity too.

Being at socio and higher is really counter-productive to getting... anything done on your own.

How much armour does tattoo armour give? Max wise?
Ssaliss2011-04-20 23:11:39
Apparently the same as splendors.
Ytran2011-04-20 23:32:48
Well, approximately. Because the defence you get from splendours is entirely at the mercy of the enchantment RNG.

(Give robes consistent statistics or a temper-like aspect to robes enchantment, plz.)
Unknown2011-04-21 00:46:22
Well, is the armour given by tattoo armour similar to splendours before or after considering the cutting/blunt tattoo powers?
Dynami2011-04-21 02:14:19
Do angels/demons attack every 7 seconds or 8 seconds? And yes, that one second matters to me.

I am pretty sure it is 8.

If a dreamweaver dies while in dreamform, do they get the xp loss of the area they were weaving in. Or the loss of where their body was?

I think it's body. We killed Alacardael in Serenwilde and I don't THINK he got hit by enemy territory death. I seem to vaguely remember someone issuing to ask, but I can't remember the exact answer (besides my impression that it counts from body).
Unknown2011-04-21 07:41:27
It's an enemy territory death.

Currently, it is 78/78 at 700 weight of tattoos, keeping in mind that it has been going up only at the 100 point increments. Whether the last 59 will make any difference or not will be determined later.

I'm foreseeing a downgrade... (and, being a tattoos user myself, I'd say that it's quite a bit too high).
To Caerulo: Physical DMP and actual armour are two separate things. Since splendours cannot have physical DMP imbued, they're inferior as far as damage reduction goes. Seeing the high armour values of tattoos (highest total for robes I've even ever heard of is 75/75, and good robes can take ages and alot of money to get), they're better in either field, though.

Geeze, one should only hope. The whole tattoo thing is kinda making me wary of the changes. Even more DMP and such impacting knights, meaning we have to get offensive tattoos just to counter balance, while affliction based classes are free to ignore the damage stuff and load up on other tattoos with their weight. Throw in tattoo monks running around in near-non-master plate armour, and you get a situation where we're not going to be able to reliably hinder them enough before the momentum train runs us over.

...which often happens anyway.

Maybe its time to ditch that knight miss rate for combat finally at least?
