Was anatine changed to longer be able to target/hit yourself, or am I just forgetting how to do it again?

It was changed.

Guess I need to look up what tattoos actually do and how they work then.

When I was a Nihilist, we weren't allowed to have a reflection up when we pacted. We had to man up and take it.

Wow, that's a sucky decision. Sounds like a Kahazul one. "YOUR PAIN IS WHAT REMINDS YOU THAT YOU ARE ALIVE! REVEL IN THE SUPERIORITY OF YOUR PERCEPTION!... oh wait you died. Better pray!"
Vadi2011-06-20 18:24:10
I still don't understand the decision. Being able to sip a venom and test things in yourself was an extremely useful feature of Lusternia, you didn't need to bother anyone. Making it such that you can't tattoo while clumsy would make more sense - still be easy code-wise and rp-wise - "You can't ink right now, that'd be far too reckless!".

It was possible to SIP ANATINE and tattoo yourself. So they removed anatine self-targetting.

On the up side, there's now no reason to care about anatine whatsoever, so its rarity has become irrelevant.

Sorry, something went wrong with authorization. Digg has returned the following error:Forbidden

Please try again later.

What does this mean? I've been trying again later for the last 2 weeks. sad.gif
Vadi2011-06-20 20:58:34
It means IRE messed stuff up (or got banned from Digg?)

Not to mention that it made for far better testing as well. You had a lot of control over the details of what you were doing without having to find a target that met the criteria of what you were looking for.

Precisely. I would like to see our anatine back. sad.gif

How much gold should I expect to spend to get one complete curio set?

Any where between roughly 200k to roughly 400k, depending on the set. Common pieces go for around 15-25k each, and the rare piece can go for 100k-200k. There are nine common pieces and one rare to a set.

Any planned or foreseeable sudden boosts to curio/coin usefulness? So I can decide if it's worth it to buy them or if they will suddenly jump in utility or value right after I do so?

If you have a completed curio, you can trade it in for the god or goddess of your choice to come over and sleep with you. Or do magic for your birthday party. Whatever you pick, man.

(I really doubt there will be a change, seriously. They're just cool shiny things.)

Wait, could you trade in two to get the Gods to come over and sleep with each other?

We could finally make the Eventru/Fain slash fic a reality...

Sure, why not?

Aww, why can't merians sleep underwater? It would be awesome.

I doubt anything will change with curios, although I really want to see dolls rolled in to the system so you can trade them, and curios continue to be available after this month. At 1.5 mil for a cask, and no guarantee you'll get anything you need, I can't help but think the market is going to really dry up.
