Maybe not a simple question. What type of feed would a horse need to be fed to turn out as a more unusual color? Like, purple, as opposed to various shades of brown or grey. I realize there's a random element to it, but I'm pretty certain there are trends in feeding, also.

How does experience work for aetherhunting? I read that it is based on your level, and module? Well, mostly it's the same for every module, except collectors get half of what they would usually get?

The way all experience works is that you get a raw amount of 'essence' that is filtered through your level into exp %, aetherhunting is no different. However, on a hunt, you get the full essence if you are on one of the three core module types (turret, grid, or chair) and half of the full if you are on anything else.

I'm... not sure. I always assumed that people with rainbow animals spent some measure of credits to do so.

All of my rainbow animals (besides Fata, who is a custom beast) are alllll natural. The most flamboyant one was my rainbow mammoth, who was AWESOME. But is now DEAD. I am never lending beasts out ever again. cry.gif

I've heard that fruit, fish or veg will turn out the "prettiest" beasts - though I know someone got a green speckled one once and I think that may have been egg.

See, I was reading that the amount of experience you get from aetherhunting is dependent on your level, in that higher levels will get higher amounts. Thank you for clearing that up.

Also, does anyone know what balance recovery time a neutral-balance race should be getting with a 280 speed axe, and how does the speed stat change the balance recovery time? Maybe not that simple of a question.

n00b question: Is there a list somewhere of the names of enchantments and their effects? I can't seem to find one in the help files. With names like "kingdom," "mercy," "perfection" and "beauty," I honestly can't work out what they're supposed to do. I feel like I must be missing some connection or reference. At least "waterwalk" is obvious.

Most guilds/orgs have a CHELP of it too.

Is beast balance always 10 seconds, or can it be speed up by certain things?

Always 10 I believe. Have yet to see anything that speeds up beast balance.

Hmm, that's what I thought, but I just noticed something weird. I was empathing ego to my pony every beast balance, and it was happening one or two seconds before my demesne tic, which is also ten seconds. But eventually they started happening farther and farther apart, until beast balance came just -after- the demesne tic.

Actually, I think I figured it out. I'm doing it again now, and my beast actions are definitely taking longer than demesne effects. It must be the build up in lag from triggering an action on regaining beast balance, rather than the constant passive effect of the demense.

Do you have to be an ascendent to get the domotheos of whatever?

Demigod or higher is required to claim a Domoth.
Unknown2011-07-17 05:38:22
No one sane wants to regularly claim as a demigod, though.
vorld2011-07-17 05:39:35
opps was unclear. I meant the powers.

The powers are assigned by the person who claims the Domoth to an entire group of people, whether it be an entire race, an entire guild, or an entire organization. In these cases you simply must be a part of the group being blessed to get it in your DEF list.

What does one do with a packet of ambermalt?

Brew beer with it. Amberbeers provide dmp, more of it as you get drunker.
