Have you tried removing the armor and then trying to wear the clothes?

Last I tried that doesn't work.
Unknown2011-08-09 21:25:35
Yup, we all have to be naked under our armor.

I want to hold an offering contest. Would prizes of 50 credits to first, 40 for second, 30 for third, 20 for fourth and 10 for fifth be decent? Is that too cheap? Too much? Should there be a milestone prize? If so, what milestone and what should the prize be.

This is mostly coming out of my pocket (except 50 were donated by the best person to play this game (besides me)), so I don't want the prizes to be too high.

Any suggestions?

Yay for an offering contest! You won't get to join in though, right? Since you usually offer a billion times more essence than everyone else? j/k biggrin.gif

My only suggestion is you can't play, lol. You have kept me multiple times from the #1 offering slot with Lord Shikari. tongue.gif

The credit prizes are kind of high, not that I would complain. Maybe only have a first second and third prize and then have checkpoints like 100k gets a credit, 250k gets 2 credits and then 500k gets 5 and 1mil gets 10....from what I see 1mil seems to be hard for a lot of people to reach so it would be a good marker and would significantly help the Order as well. Might even wield some people advancing in the orders.

I would also say, do it over a weekend. I know I have very little time to play during the week. i'm sure others have the same problem.

Also, esteemed needles should not count. To easy to buy them and offer them. I should know, lol. ohyeah.gif

Sounds like fun though.

Taurian Druid.

How hard would I be smashing my head into the wall?

Not an answer, but thank you.

It's sort of the point.
Xiel2011-08-09 22:04:19
Doable, but your damage output will be markedly lower than a regular caster race.
Unknown2011-08-09 22:05:14
I feel like the race is super cool, and the help file for the race really puts them in a poor light, and so I'm gonna try it.

Though yeah, I assume it will suck something hardcore.
Xiel2011-08-09 22:07:14
At least you'll be tankier (to an extent) than the average druid.
Unknown2011-08-09 22:09:08
Last question, how hard would it be for me to find a free iMap file, if even a cruddy one? I see people selling them, and in Imperian, they're free, and I figure someone must have something they'd be willing to part with.

Is Puissance worth the extra 240 lessons to get it for a PB?

So long as you're not gasping for credits.

I've got the lessons to spare, I think. The Wheel has been kind. (god I hope they bring those crate packages back)

This is possibly the dumbest question I have had to ask I think but.....Why can't I put on pants a shirt etc when I have plate and a greathelm? Shouldn't it just go on under?

I ask because of the prestige thing when influencing.

Think of full plate not just as

But more

There's a lot more than metal plates, and it should include layers of leather, chain, and cloth in addition to the iron/steel/gold/adamantium

If it was more, it should:
1) Not leave your clothing rating as 'essentially naked'.
2) Count for prestige.

How the heck is someone in full plate essentially naked, anyways?!

I wear a veritable pile of accessories in addition to my greatrobes and I get "a bit underdressed" or something like that. confused.gif
Daraius2011-08-10 00:00:02
I have a feeling that part of the clothing system is a legacy from Achaea, since it would probably make more sense if it had been built from the ground up for Lusternia.

EDIT: Wait, just kidding. Too much clothing related stuff is bizarro to pin it all on Achaea.

Just my splendour gown gives me 'Scantily clad' and 'Well-to-do'. It's odd, though, and should perhaps be brought up on envoys? To equalize it to Scantily Clad if nothing else.

Does anyone have the clothing and prestige for masterplate, and armor/masterplate with cloaks, coats, boots, underwear, a hat, etc., etc.?

Things like jewellery don't contribute to clothing rating, just prestige. To get up to "warmly dressed" you basically need every available item of clothing (including things like boxers, panties/bra, a hat, gloves, a scarf and socks).
