You might want to bug it or something. You're the Minister of Culture, and that's something you should have the ability to do. Something's wonky if you don't see STAGE SUBMIT as one of your STAGE options right now, while standing at your stage.

This is what I see, this isn't right? I will admit, I have very little experience with the stage system and the last time I was a culture minister we didn't have the stage system, funny before I was a CM of an arena, now I'm one of a stage. rolleyes.gif

How strong is the beastmastery minorbreath attack, in terms of damage? Do they do afflictions too?

Some special beasts have afflictions on their minorbreath, but it will be noted in the AB.

The damage is trivial. It might offset a healing scroll or level 1 regeneration, but no more.

So I read HELP BARIDC and thought it sounded like a good time, then I went and read some of the entries on the website... I do not think I can even begin to compete, there is some impressive stuff in there! Out of the race before it even got started, those are my lemons!

Don't give up! Just create your bardic and submit it. I mean, I honestly was quite surprised when my bardic won. I'm sure you'll do well.

It's still worth it to try! Honorable mention is worth 10 credits iirc.

I keep meaning to make some submissions. I don't know how people find the time. heh

We all started that way. Don't let that stop you. Write stuff for your city/commune library and when you get something good submit that too -- nothing lost if you don't win.

My entries were so-so and I lucked out and got a couple honorable mentions. Can't hurt to try a few times and see how it goes.

50 actually, plus a bonus when you make the next level.

Is there something (that I'm somehow missing) that shows you all the artifacts in a manse that you own?
Ssaliss2010-08-12 03:12:13
Don't have manse artifacts... I'd almost assume ARTIFACT LIST shows it though?

It doesn't. Further, I didn't buy the artifacts, but had the manse transferred to me. I could ask the original owner, but it would be easier to see a server-kept list of some kind to keep track.

Wow thank you for your support! I see a lot of fan fiction style stories and such... I would like to do something... Could one submit a play script? Would that be acceptable? Like the kind one did in school, in the style of Lysistrata et all?

I know Lendren has submitted plays he's written, so absolutely. Just make sure it meets the 'distinctly Lusternian' requirement

Someone give me a good explanation ICly about the difference between essence harvested in planes like Elemental or Ethereal, and the essence that demigods/ascendants get from killing stuff. Any theories or ideas on this? Do they absorb the spiritual life force of the creature in order to fan their spark more?
Jigan2010-08-12 06:38:10
Essence is essentially caramelized raw power. Like dark essence is essentially Earthen (tree) sap.

The essence Demigods gets is essentially life force.

Shiri2010-08-12 06:40:39
Uh...I assume you mean something else than "ICly", but they're two different words, like how "spirit" is different for Seren ancestor spirits and Great Spirits like the fae. Essence demigods have is the essence of their Divine spark - the same stuff you offer to admin Divine, but in smaller quantities.

Essence from the elemental planes is more like, um, the fundamental nature of those planes, like the Platonic ideals, perhaps, or power congealed into a form dictated by that plane. At least, that's the common perception of it - how that works with shadow essence and silver essence would be slightly harder to work out given that they aren't even converted on the Ethereal plane.

Either way, they're pretty much unrelated.

If you're asking about room upgrades, you can MANSE SHOW ROOM UPGRADES in a room to see what's there. You'd have to do this for each room, but that shouldn't take too long.

I meant IC as in like a canon-esque way. But that answers my question, thanks.
