We need a fat, jolly, Dionysian god.

No, we need a skinny, anarchic Jim Morrison Gaudiguch divine. Flashin' his genitals at the other Gods, inciting riots, eventually sharding himself after OD-ing in his bathtub.

Rexius - the Lizard King
His OH title could be "Spy in the House of Love," and he could be patron of the Pyromancers.

Ever since I got carrion in necromancy, it seems I can't get fully satiated with normal food. I stuffed in about six plates about food, but it only made me slightly peckish. One corpse made me fully satiated, though. Is that supposed to happen?

Mojorisin would be better. That's Mr. Mojorisin to you.

Is there a Magnagoran history buff out there who can discuss the banner houses with me? Or does anyone know where I can find a tidy list of them?

No, but seriously. Polearm frogges. How do they work?

For a reasonable sized polearm, I'd assume a baldric with a strap of leather on the back with a cup at the bottom and straps to hold it to your back. For a pike or something, you'd have to break them down into sections and just do the same, I guess. I don't think we actually have pikes, though.

I had to edit most post, because the forums don't censor the F-bomb. This bothers me, because I use the f-bomb a lot.

Put a space after the censor so it does the the smiley.

Thanks everyone for wasting three pages of what's usually a helpful topic.
Is it possible to transcend a class skill without being in a guild? Illusions or tracking, for instance?

Yea, so long as you have someone to learn from. Atleast that's how I remember things.

If you've already selected it, yes. You have to already have the skill once you're guildless, or you cannot learn it.
So, for example, if you learn Psionics and quit before specializing in Telepathy, you can't SKILLCHOICE SELECT TELEPATHY once you're guildless so you cannot transcend it.
However, finding a teacher for it may be rough.

To elaborate: You'd need to find someone who Transcended the skill(s) you want to learn before they quit their guild, too. This narrows the field down considerably to a handful of guildless/guildhoppers per guild. I doubt you'll get someone who's currently in a guild to teach you their skills, because that's generally not allowed because of city/guild rules.
EDIT: My posts should never be considered complete until twenty minutes after I've posted it. I use the edit button judiciously.

Anyone in the guild can still teach you, but there may be guild laws / rules against it which they would have to be willing to break.

Which I think is what he had in his head, just didn't put that down.
