My endowment isn't working sad.gif

I'm not sure what's up with the endowments, but we are aware of it and I've fired off e-mails so we can hopefully get this addressed ASAP!

Bandoliers should work properly now, as well. You should put your vials in it like any other container.

All good <3

Thanks.. I skillflexed some things already thinking it would, you know, work heh

For the record, Cord is not working when worn by people other than the owner. Not sure if that was answered yet, but I thought I'd give a heads-up anyways.

that's probably a good thing ©

Not sure if anyone else posted it.

QUOTE
The surface of this small pouch is pleasantly soft to the touch, coloured a rich, dark brown and worn from long use. Heady aromas reminiscent of old smoke and pungent dried herbs suffuse the thin suede, bearing testament to its use and contents. A pair of long, thin strips of black leather laces in a utilitarian fashion about the lip of the piece, securing with a simple overhand knot, while beads of carved ebony adorn the ends of the drawstrings, serving as the only decoration to this functional pouch of herbs.
It weighs 3 ounce(s).

Freezer Desc, since I didn't see it available:
QUOTE
Composed of ice blue crystal and crafted so as to resemble a block of rough-hewn ice, this powerful construct veritably hums with temporal energy. Its lid has been specially designed to pull back into itself when opened, revealing its spacious and smooth interior. Occasionally crackles of energy spark from within it, a testament to the temporal field that lends it its powers of preservation.
It weighs about 10 pounds.

No nifty ambiance on open/close like I was hoping though. sad.gif

Out of curiosity, is the freezer tap-able similar to the artifact kegs so I can put it in the manse and use it kind of like a showcase? Very much want....

Edit: Ambiance with an A, definitely, definitely with an A.....

CODE
AB ILLUSIONS:
Script         Write on walls with illusory script.

That would be why Shaddus asked me about that. I feel like a moron now. sleep.gif This is what I get for quitting a year and a half ago.

Oh well! If I ever leave the Geomancers, I can still use script. laugh.gif Also, I get to say I have a unique artifact that only two others own. wub.gif

And dammit, still a moron! I can only write in urban environments with my Illusions ability, so now I can write anywhere! Never mind! *headdesk* I need sleep. blackeye.gif

Desc for those curious:

The document is a sheet of snowy white vellum, which is inscribed with glowing divine script that flows from the top of the sheet to the bottom. Just holding this crisp parchment is a heady experience and you sense that the gods themselves will endow whoever reads this document with a blessing that will enable one to take another tradeskill.
It weighs 1 ounce(s).
It bears the distinctive mark of Patriarch Kalas Ixion, of the Black Fist.

I just have to ask: why would you pay 1000 credits for something that saves you about 9 credits each time you use it? Is it that really better than just skillflexing 120 times and paying for each one as you need? How often are you really planning to swap skills around? Heh.

And, I'm still really, really hoping the Endowment becomes a regular artifact, though realistically I don't see it happening.
Esano2010-07-25 10:28:31
Honestly, yes, people will skillflex that much. Especially people who have multiple trades or specializations.

I mean, why pay 2000cr for an endowment? Is it really better than just switching back and forth 240 times?
Unknown2010-07-25 10:30:00
The Endowment lets you have them at the same time, which can be a huge deal. Alchemists who can pick Herbs without having to switch, wait a month, and switch back? biggrin.gif

I agree with you. Personally, I would have paid more for the cord than the endowment.

More than that many times, over the lifetime of the cord. I would rather have one item that gives me 6 tradeskills (plus Ecology and Illusions at once) with the limit of having to switch around the way I switch race and gender already, than spending twice as much for one item that gives me 2 tradeskills simultaneously, end of story. Having to manage my time is not that hard compared to how much more I get.

But I'm glad three people felt otherwise!

So much for fretting about 100 bleed damage synergizing with gloms, right? This result made me giggle.

And, if the admin want to make the next RL month "buy auction items at the highest auctioned price month", instead of whatever other promotion? I'd bet you get a lot more credits sold than whatever you actually are planning!

'Cause personally, I hate auctions. Too much emotional decision making. I like to look at the prices and say "what could I have bought with that many credits from the normal stuff. Ok, is it worth it?"

Ixion2010-07-25 12:13:07
The result is a result of what you said.
Unknown2010-07-25 12:37:26
I was bidding on a Cloak of Thorns specifically to try and keep it out of the hands of Glomdoring, so yeah. smile.gif

That flame gauntlet burning toads from last year is probably more of a threat than that cloak. tongue.gif And when you have nekotai doing the lol 1500+ whatever bleed damage in a small window of time, I guess the potential for one more drop in the bucket didn't bug me too much.

Though, seeing two knights and a monk (the people on the wrong side of yet-another-censor.gif-you physical attacks mechanic) get it? I admit, that does bring me some small measure of satisfaction.
