but is the skillflex artifact limited like once a weave or something?

If not it would be worth a hell of a lot more then the tradeskill one! (well unless you are a city/commune TM)

It says it removes the lesson loss, it doesn't say that it lets you get infinite flexes in a weave.

If it gave infinite flexes, that would be pretty overpowered.

Of all of these, I'd expect the Medal to go for the least.

I actually know nothing about the skillflex system tongue.gif

edit: actually if I read it right you are limited to 50 lessons a game month, but if it doesn't cost lessons ...
Eventru2010-07-16 23:50:36
It just removes the lesson cost TMK.

Why is it that even though I bid on auctions, it still shows current bids are 1? (but it shows my bid as the max bid)
Unknown2010-07-16 23:51:27
I am both relieved and disappointed that this year's auction arties weren't as interesting as last year's. Relieved because there's nothing really bananas like the charisma rune and wands and disappointed that a lot of the 'interesting' arties are tied to squads and aetherspace.

With that said, this is credit war.

Nobody has bid against you. If someone does, it will raise your bid to theirs, as long as it is less than your max.

That just shows the current 'price' if it was to end right now; you don't bid all you have put down, just what someone else was willing to bid.

That means that if you win the auction, you'll only have to pay the first number, but people contesting can push that first number higher if they try to outbid you. If they bid higher than your second number, you lose anyway.

It is agreed.

I shall see you upon the pitch, sir.

Well, in short, forget one skill temporarily (no lessons regained) and learn another. Then forget the second one temporarily and switch back to the first one, only you don't have to relearn anything. Expand to as many skills as you want.

Caveat: It costs 50 lessons to switch back to a previously temp-forgotten skill (25 if it's a "split" skill, such as Elementalism/Aquamancy) and can only be done once an IC month (or once a weave, not sure).

Unless I missed something critical, but in that case I'm sure people will correct me.

It's an autobid system. You only bid as much as it is required to outbid any further bidding. The maximum means as long as the current bid has not reached your max bid, it'll automatically bid for you.

Edit: I hate Xenthos.

You were first, so you get all the hate. Not to mention the fact that this isn't the first time this week.

I dunno, I'm thinking the bandolier. The rest provide something mechanically, that one just de-spams the inventory.

Then again, the power from squads aren't that high compared to the rest of the power input, so the medal isn't likely to go for much either, I suppose. Although the same can be said about all squad-related arties.

I'd pay a lot more for the bandolier than for the medal.

Especially when I need two of the three to satisfy all my vial needs....

It would be nice what I need to bet to get over that auto bid of someone...

Ohm, maybe I will come out of retirement and participate in this credit war.

Just bid as much as you'd be willing to pay. It'll handle the rest. If it goes higher, you didn't want it that bad anyway.
