This is my call. I was dragging my feet on having ANY custom enter/exit; however, this is the compromise that was struck. Enter/exit is one of the most intrusive of all text you'll see and, thus, I want strict limits to it as I do not want hundreds of different enter/exit messages flying around.

You're not going to convince me to budge on this one. Sorry! (I know, I'm a meanie.)

Problem is that it takes full council approval to descend one. And you can't start on the next until the first is descended. Wish this issue had occurred to us sooner. o_o

This, please. I'm not a big fan of the thought that 80 million of the essence I bashed up before just went down the drain for this overhaul.

Right, I can understand the admin not wanting to give ascendants a further potential 80 mil to play with, to screw up the 'costs' of the current or revised system, but we as players would still like it back in some form.

So that's why I think the best solution would be to put the leftover essence into the new veneration skill.

Yeah, Glom got on that the moment we found out we can, but it's still taking at least 1 RL day per descend, so we're under a bit of a time crunch.

In the event of an emergency, I suppose a given Vernal can abandon their org temporarily. Not sure if this applies to someone sitting on the council, but at CR6 three leaders can boot you from the org too. Desperate and hurtful, but possibly better than saddling your org with a massive essence debt.

Oh man I would so hilarious if it came to that. People complaining about just having to choose between who to descend.

Not to mention you're now removing the balm of vernal demigodhood from those people as well, since it was stated you lose that if you leave the org.

If it's a choice between power debt and kicking, I'll be the first one calling the vote to kick people. Hell, I was trying to get the votes to kick Rhaell to strip him of CL. This will be a lot easier.

EDIT: I can see having a seperate command to ascend someone after the votes are in, so you can have a nice event or something, but now is not the time to make this harder than it should be. If we miss this through stupid scheduling, when we know who we want gone and are more than willing to do it, I'm going to be pissed.

I dunno about everyone else, but sylphas rageing about kicking people out of Serenwilde, if they can't descend people fast enough makes me lol. From the logs I just saw in Serenwilde you could have had 2 descended already. Why you would think you could descend multiple people at once when it requires confirmation votes for each one and you don't get to pick who you confirm, just that you do confirm is beyond me.

No, we couldn't have because not all council members had shown up for you yet. By the time they 5th one had shown up, all the rest had come back and confirmed Nejii. If she hadn't started on Nejii we'd be waiting for Sadie to come back and finish off you right now.

A whole different story is seeing a cool prize at the end of a long sucky road, getting to the end just to have the prize diminish greatly in quality, making you look back on that long sucky road and wishing you had your time and money back tongue.gif
