So goblins are able to cheat in Eye of the Storm. They can hop into the upper part of mage tower, with the flag.

I just went through the Andorhal questline on my undead alt.
FREEEEEE KOLTIRA!
FREEEEEE KOLTIRA!
Unknown2011-01-18 19:57:56
I did that quest line on my gnome mage, only saw Koltira for a second and at the end the main dude giving me quests went to see what Sylvanis had done to him.
I imagine I may run into him again later.

Level 85. 10 man raid. Lich King Heroic. Should be pretty easy, right? I mean we're all geared to the teeth and can all survive the worst LK has to throw at us.
Someone stands in the damn defile. ARGH.

Been there done that and wiped like idiots again. Even Sindragosa HC was quite a challenge.

I am much enjoying it. Going to attempt LK HC again with 10 rather than 25.

Somebody got the server first for 25 last week on my server. They got server first Alone in the Dark like a week before Cata came out. Haomarush sucks for high end raiding. ):

Wow, apparently. You're like a full year behind the curve.

Oneshotted LK HC on 10 man, then we decided to go and get all the wotlk guild achievements. Really puts gear scaling into perspective o_O

The part that annoys me is that only health, damage, and heals actually scale. For everything else, WotLK was the most powerful we're ever going to be.

Which makes sense. Arthas < Old gods, Saergas, Kil'jaeden, Deathwing, etc.

What? On the lore scale of things, the scourge was nasty nasty, but Arthas? He's ~Illidan, a bit stronger. Kil'jaeden, Archimonde, Saergas, C'thun, Yogg-Saron, Saergas, Deathwing, Malygos, all of them were "stronger" then him.

Ok well. your reply just seemed....strange.
if Wrath was the "strongest" we are ever going to be (As Sylphas said) then how would that makes sense since Arthas was the....bottom rung of the "bosses" so to speak. I dunno I'm just confused easily I suppose.

Because since raid boss strength is entirely unrelated to their actual strength, they have to balance your -proportional- strength to achieve a similar effect.

Okay, let me put this in perspective.
At 85, we can completely wreck C'thun. He's pathetic.
At level 60, C'thun will slaughter us.
This is why actual strength means nothing. A boss will never stay powerful. Therefore, developers balance things not by the boss it's self, but by the players. Here's an example.
At level 60, when C'thun was released, he was unbeatable. His power in relation to his -intended enemy strength- was just too high. This is proportional strength. In Burning Crusade, enemies were generally harder then their vanilla lvl60 str counterparts. In order to give players a sense of relation in terms of strength as to just how powerful a mob is, they adjust it's power. In relation to it's intended opponents
This is why WOTLK was insanely easy, and also insanely heavy on AOE. Mobs were intended to be weak in relation to the player. You were supposed to feel like, coming out of outlands, you had seen worse. This was bad, but Kil'jaeden was tougher. Arthas and other enemies in WOTLK were lowballed.
Sylphas2011-01-25 02:54:37
Also, with heroic loot, they added a LOT more item levels than they had actually planned for, so anything percentage based got crazy. People had 50% crit base, for example. Our ratings are a lot higher now, sure, but the rate they scale into actual percentages is much lower. People are looking at 15% crit or so now and unless we get a lot more tiers than normal, it won't get out of hand ever again.
