Okay, let me put this in perspective.
At 85, we can completely wreck C'thun. He's pathetic.
At level 60, C'thun will slaughter us.
This is why actual strength means nothing. A boss will never stay powerful. Therefore, developers balance things not by the boss it's self, but by the players. Here's an example.
At level 60, when C'thun was released, he was unbeatable. His power in relation to his -intended enemy strength- was just too high. This is proportional strength. In Burning Crusade, enemies were generally harder then their vanilla lvl60 str counterparts. In order to give players a sense of relation in terms of strength as to just how powerful a mob is, they adjust it's power. In relation to it's intended opponents
This is why WOTLK was insanely easy, and also insanely heavy on AOE. Mobs were intended to be weak in relation to the player. You were supposed to feel like, coming out of outlands, you had seen worse. This was bad, but Kil'jaeden was tougher. Arthas and other enemies in WOTLK were lowballed.

Alright thank you. I understand now. For some reason my brain just couldn't grasp what you were trying to say. It is kind of sad if you think about it, but understandable I guess.
I'm kind of glad Blizz decided to change from Wrath's playstyle. I know a lot of healers complained that wrath was boring for them since they had to hardly heal, but as a dps I was bored as well. I could've fallen asleep at my desk and still have done fairly decently. I just wish more people would realize the changes made and adjust to them.

I've never heard that stated and really doubt that was their intention. Reason for those changes had to do messing with gameplay mechanics and difficulty and such, and they went to far with WotLK trash mobs and healer mana.
If you want to talk about boss strength, Kil'jaeden was only half summoned through the Sunwell and that's probably supposed to be more limiting to him then just rooting him in place, and we didn't kill him, only manage to force him back through. Archimonde we also didn't kill, just delayed until the wisp trap was ready. C'thun was still weak from being pwned by the Titans and Yogg hadn't fully escaped his bonds, and we were able to attack both of them from the inside. Malygos I dunno, maybe because he hadn't done anything but lay around in a depression for 10k years, plus we get help from the Red flight.
Arthas was supposed to have grown way more powerful then when he faced Illidian at the end of Frozen Throne. He was just the Lich King's strongest Death Knight then, now he is the Lich King. And I guess harvesting more souls in Frostmourne? When you do HoR with Horde, Silvannas goes in thinking she can solo him, and by the time you catch up she's saying that he's way too powerful to be defeated. And we only beat him through some deus ex machina with Tirion breaking free in the nic of time. Which I still think is really lame. could have at least done something like, attack the killed us cracked Tirion's ice block.
I think Deathwing is also supposed to be way stronger then he was in WC2, with his new and improved elementium armor, and the increasing influence of the Old Gods.

We tried once, but it kind of fell apart. What are you looking for in the game?

I have a level 5 human healer I started a trial account on, I have a full account now. Willing to start a new character.
Anything but PvP, really.

Wyrmrest Accord is unequivocally the best RP realm on american servers. PVE Realms you can check up on fairly easy, I'm on Icecrown which is a solid PVE Realm, but there are better ones.

I play on Argent Dawn, Alliance side for my main, (only because I dream of getting the lion mount and it's fun to sneak in and tame horde beasts ie-dragonhawks) it's a pretty nice RP server, never been hassled or anything. I've actually been wanting to start up a guild of my own there. My current's guild's ok but they really just wanted me for the numbers I think :/. If that doesn't pan out, I might just end up transferring to Nesingwary to join up with the main Petopians guild.

Could be just the timing that you're on, that was the biggest issue when we set up the last server, everyone had different times!
Perhaps next year, when I'm at uni and have a job, I can start playing again, because my home uni doesn't block fun things.

If you tell me where you're logging on, and when, I can proabably explain that for you.

Naxilishari casts Resurrection on Thread.
So. 4.2 and all that jazz. I personally am retiring from my mage(The lovable Kialkarkea that shattercombo'd you last week to death) and taking up my priest. What else have you all been doing with your 15 dollars a month?

Don't knock the PvP in WoW, it's pretty spectacular. When I was playing DKs were top notch, but that may not be the case anymore as that was a few patches ago.
Can't usually go wrong with a disc priest or holy paladin though. Druid used to be awesome but since the shapeshift change, eh.
Or go rogue twink (like level 19 or level 29), and just fuuu everything up. Druid and hunter at those levels are also insane.
Also WoW gets pretty dull when you've run out of quests and aren't raiding. Farming archaeology < PvP.

Dk's are kind of OP right now. A well played one will have the advantage against anything but a Pally.

Did twink queues magically get shorter? I thought they kind of died.
