Stage Managers are players, not admins. There's no oversight over them and no motivation for them to not let people have productions.

The people who point stage managers are also players, not admins. There's no oversight over them, either.

Are you seriously suggesting that every single player is going to suddenly be willing to allow people to make garbage productions just because? I think, as someone who's a Stage Manager on two different characters, that I'm a little insulted by that. laugh.gif I mean, I get that there might be one or two who would, but I seriously think they'd be the rare exception, not the rule.

But hey, how about a compromise? How about instead of winning at the World Stage being the measure of the achievement, being SUBMITTED to the World Stage would be. Cause, surely you don't think the Minister of Culture is going to risk the org's culture by sending something full of Narf to the World Stage?

You're getting a little caught up on the exact level of inanity likely to be submitted (but yes, some ministers have done that.)

I have to say i agree with lendren on this to a point. If there is a way to game the achievement, likely it will be. I seen it in Imperian especially with the killing/being killed (being killed did not have many thus I did not suggest many of them, one time achievement, who cares if you game it, you died).

What is sad though, and I made a note of it was with the mentors. I do not mentor very many people for the reason, sometimes I am not around much, and sometimes I am really busy and I do not want to take the chance of not being able to help someone I promised I would help. the achievement promotes mentors even more - any new player really should have one, not only is it nice that they can learn 20 lessons at a time from their mentor, a good mentor will take them hunting and they get an exp bonus for it as well - an I almost guarantee, a new player that had a good mentor, is more likely to stick around. but there is really no way to keep people from making alts for their friends to mentor for their friend to get a mentor type achievement sad.gif there is no way other than for admin to constantly watch for it and shubbing said people, which in the end, does end up being a bigger pain than it is worth. So I really do not suspect we will see an achievement like the mentor achievement.

Good mentors do not need achievements to urge them to do it. In fact the person who is convinced by achievement is the person I absolutely do not want to introduce me to a new game.
