I've come upon the novel realization that my portraits, which aren't that great, won't get better on their own if I don't practice them. So that's changing - busts from now on will be full color and colored in the semi-painterly style you see above, not the block coloring of the miniatures. Please help me practice by requesting them, even if it means you may turn out misshapen! It'll be very cheap.

Good lord, I'm so sorry to all the other commissioners but between finals and the sheer difficulty that is wuylinfe, I just couldn't get this one done up until now. I must've attempted him at least 6 times...but at last...finally, I HAVE PRODUCED. Commissions should resume their regular rate during January, unless I get another massively difficult one.

Feyrll, you must've heard this many times already and hell you should, but your amazing talent is beyond words. The more I look at this portrait the more I'm in awe. Thanks so much for putting up with Wuy, I'm not surprised he was a tricky one, but I also learned a number of things throughout the process. I'm so happy the way it turned out. Your imagination and technique is incredible.

I got more of a Lady Almathea feel, which I realized belatedly. I think I jumped on IM and was like "MAELLIO. Why is my character is the last unicorn?!"
