This, though being able to leave my organization and maintain some semblance of Vernalhood would be nice.

More random ideas.

Dessicate: Once per weave, reduce the remaining decay time on a targeted object.

Airless: You're divine. Breathing is just force of habit. Increased asphyxiation DMP.

Mini-Daath: 50 weight, absurd essence cost timed insta.

Divine Senses: Half blackout time.

Spite: When activated, you die. Heavy damage of a type of your choice to your personal enemies in the room. Possible customization.

Selective Manifestation: While active, you are visible to your allies even while shrouded.

Minor Shapeshift: Transform into an animal (or other small being) selected from a list. Hides name and changes description to that of the being in question, falls off on aggressive action as Marauder's Mask. Special emote usable while active.

Greater Creation: Outdoor rooms in manses you own can support one type of herb planted there as though it were the proper terrain type.

Domain Control: While in a manse you own, you gain access to damage and hindering abilities that you may use on anyone in the same manse. Selectable from a list.

-thunderclap - a demigod can clap his hands for fireworks. The bright kind.
-I kind of want to ask for a demigod to have the ability to cast illusions, but in order to make it unusable for combat, the demigod will need full hp/mana/ego/power to do them + long balance and equilibrium time.
-blowhard - demigods can shout and be heard from anywhere
-personal custom demigod emote, one only, may include a custom pose.
-ability to grant a 'token' of sorts. In my mind, it functions like a favour (without giving any actual mechanical advantages), you give it to someone when you like them or it can be a signature of sorts. It's just a coin with the demigod's mark on it. Gotta collect them all.
-custom qq/login message.
-ability to know how much balance/eq you took when doing an action, server-side. I'd rather the whole game get this though, but since I'm thinking about it, why not.
-ability to purchase knowledge of mortal languages like aslari, elfen, etc.
-the ability to completely customize your description. No more "He is an ordinary human demigod and"...I hate that first 'and' in descriptions.
-ability to change your colour on qw. No more monotonous gold.
-special foods/booze for demigods.
-ability to worsen/improve your tolerance for alcohol.

I'll edit as I think of more stuff.

Not to sound down on some of these ideas, but let's remember that "not imbalancing in combat" was a big issue with the idea in all of its incarnations. Some of the more recent ideas seem very combat-oriented or at least combat-usable.

I don't think we're inherently opposed to the idea of combat abilities (refresh, divinefire, zap) - simply be aware they'll be weighted appropriately, and you likely won't be able to pick more than one or two 'combat' abilities for supernumerary, and the essence cost prohibitive so that it won't be easy to maintain as a ephemeral 24/7.

So feel free to suggest!

I really like all the ideas that involve a demigod bestowing some kind of blessing on midbies!

I don't know if something like this has been thrown out there, but here you go.

Custom Reveal - area-wide effect when demigod logs on, like when gods choose to make themselves visible. Can be toggled on and off.

Custom Ambience - periodic area- or room-wide ambient effect while demigod is logged in. Can be toggled. (e.g. The faint odor of damp dog permeates the air about Celest. biggrin.gif )

I think taking to much of what makes a God special is a bad thing. I don't think many people realise just how little they actually get for how much they actually do and while sure we should have fun toys too, we shouldn't supplant the "gods" by doing everything they can plus more.

What'd be interesting instead of 'powers' is the ability to buy 'keys' to certain demi+ only areas that are only good for bashing / gold whoring.

Another thought anyway.

I'd like to second the addition of a resurrection ability or two.

And yeah, I didn't think my version Kialkarkea's idea was at all likely to be picked up. But if you're going to make the suggestion, this seemed the better approach.

I read in another thread that Estarra didn't want lots of different custom enter/exits running around and that that, rather than the burden of admin approval, was the reason for making custom "custom". In light of this, I was wondering if the admin would be open to adding more options to customenter/look/tport/choicezap/shout as time and patience allow, or are the current messages all there'll ever be?
