So if we make threads about game mechanics that degrade into mudslinging and whatnot (but still has some form of game mechanic talk) its ok? Cool! I'll remember that next time I want to ruffle feathers.

They all do that eventually.

FURTHERMORE - the fights don't prove Badluck is manageable anymore than they prove that person using Badluck is not a competent fighter able to take advantage of the ability to its fullest.

Please, for the love of all that is Akui, form better arguments. sad.gif

The truth of the matter is that offensive things (from a Templar perspective, at least) don't mesh with Badluck. It's fire-and-forget. It's the target who decides how nasty it'll be.

Ok last post cause this thread is just waiting to be closed anyways...

The point of the test was not to prove I was a good fighter. Something I have never once ever claimed. So trying to insult my combat ability is pointless. I don't care. I don't get off on people thinking I am an amazing combatant, like someone's ego obviously does. The point was you wanted to test my curing, and whether I could have had the lines a long time ago or not, I didn't and I already said my curing was bad. So you are merely making a point I already admitted to and trying to cover it in "you suck" crap so nobody notices that... my bad curing was still good enough to keep you from killing me, which was what the test was really about.

I was messed up with afflictions a few times, sure, I admit that. My offense could have been better, yup, it could have. In the end though only one thing matters... I still timed you out in the arena and cured.

Perhaps you missed the part where I said I hit your passive shielding multiple times, your foresight, was paralysed...

Keep on ragefitting and making excuses though. You have still failed to prove anything (other than badluck is manageable, thank you for that) and trying to make me look like a bad combatant doesn't make you look like a good one when you couldn't kill me in 10 minutes wink.gif

A shield that comes around once every 15 seconds. Yes, that is hard to deal with if you don't have a means of voiding the pentagram it creates, or if for some reason you can't see when it comes up. Oh yea, forgot you do not have the triggers. So yea, I can see how that would mess you over once every 15 seconds, unless you sat there trying to fling at a shield over and over. Then again, it also comes down when I attack so it normally will only remain up if I am trying to scrub. I guess in that situation against you, BadLuck worked in my favour, since I was off-balance enough to allow the shield to stay up longer.

Also are you really mentioning paralysis? I mean 1 second focus balance time to get out of it, and we do not have anything to hinder you from focusing out of it sans the stuff that has been around since Achaea.

Foresight, yes I can end up dodging with that, but why should that stop you from trying again. It is not like it will stack balance loss on you are anything. It is not like some other action you do like using scrub to cure can cause it to fire, then again it is not like you had to scrub anyhow slowing you down even more.
Veyrzhul2010-09-01 19:34:42
With focus body potentially knocking you off balance, you shouldn't need much more than a way to prone someone and mantakaya.

EDIT: (to Xavius' last remark)

We almost have thirteen trained. They're much faster than the ladder delivery crews. Be afraid.

I am busy using black spray in hair dye on my kitten. She already knows how to run between your legs and trip you up.

Badluck is so OP, Gregori sends his own cat to get you. It's all part of the Master Plan of the Supreme Clique.

I wub.gif Akui.

Joking aside, I was going through the last pages and the only vaguely relevant thing I found was geb and Gregori poking each other and Shuyin's quote. I was under the impression that there are rules about trolling. Which I am breaking.

What in the -hell- has gone on since I have been gone? 14 pages of this? Really?

Badluck affects a lot more combatants than those in this thread and why is that we all must have uber-awesome systems and uber-awesome reflexes to enjoy what is, really and essentially, just a game (and in hindsight this can apply to a lot of things that have so transfigured over the course of Lusternia's lifespan)

Also it takes way too long for Researchers to get a kill on anyone with more than 2000 health or OK curing. I demand mana/ego-based instakill biggrin.gif
