Since this is a badluck thread and not a "can we prove aurawarp, bedevil, and passive afflictions is OP" thread it is very much worth pointing out that badluck fired a total of 28 times, while I was in the room with Geb. Over a 10 minute fight that is 2.8 times a minute. Goly Gee..

You didn't kill me and when I got out of the room to cure outside your aurawarps and bedevils I cured fine. Pretty sure point proven, and the fact that you could so easily keep aeon on me proves one thing. Researchers are OP and can easily keep you aeon locked. Discuss.

Most of those firings were on scrub attempts and attacks, since I did not use focus at all. They also fired sometimes multiple times in a roll, and also when ectoplasm was on me. Now add in the fact that I have to scrub the green mucous off of me and the ectoplasm that you sometimes did, though I did catch plenty of the illusions of you doing it, I found myself scrubbing or attempting to scrub more than I was attacking. So even with Dadluck stealing my balance, and my need to remove mucous and ectoplasm I still built up afflictions on you and had you low on health. "Why is that", one may ask. That is because Kalin, who harps about good curing (which he probably does not even create his own system), does not cure well himself.

When I told him the only thing that saved him was BadLuck, he told me in no uncertain words I was wrong. He said it was Aurawarp and Bedevil that messed him over, but actually I never placed both on him at the same time. You can look at the diagnose information I have shown you and see only one was on him. Anyhow, I took the challenge and offered to go again without me using Aurawarp and Bedevil if he did not use BadLuck (so my two skills for his one), and he refused.

You never had both on you at the sametime, so you can try to talk it up all you want but I never put you through both, because I knew you could not handle one. My offer is still open to you though.

Oh, and neither Bedevil nor Aurawarp stop you from sipping quicksilver and curing with elixers and potions. So, you could have always cured out of aeon, you could have always walked out and ate a bit of reishi. It was not like I had anything that could double or quad your balance loss, or cause you to fall and lose balance, or cause you to you to be entangled if you walked out through the tentacled exit, so on and so forth.

Edit: Oh, and just went through the log and noticed I never gave you AuraWarp.

As for the curing... Aurwarp... Bedevil... Once I left your presence I was perfectly fine. Which is.. how you handle aurawarp and bedevil. I am sorry you need to be taught that.

Oh, and as for my system, it is pretty much my own. It was Treant at one point but has been so changed over that it's basically treant underlying my own code. So yes, I do create my own system, not that it matters other than you are just trying to toss out anything you can to try and look good to your peers.

Kalin's curing was good enough for me to not only survive under badluck, but mount an effective offense against him while under badluck.

Therefore, bad curing is good enough to handle badluck?

If the latter is grounds for mechanical changes, we should disband envoys now. All mechanical arguments will be settled in arena fights. The winner of the fight gets to nerf the losers ability or buff their own.
