It's a strange new artifact! Well.. Not new, but whatever.
Colewort doesn't do anything for some reason.
QUOTE
Sargassum - As the seaweed burns, visions of deep, watery oceans fill your mind, accompanied by the oddest sense of drowning.
Juniper - As the smoke enters your lungs, you begin to hear howling mountain lions.
Flax - The flax burns to nothing, lingering as only a faintly sweet smell in your nostrils.
Mistletoe - As the scent of the juniper fades from your nostrils, you find yourself in a wild race through the forest, bare feet pounding sharply against loamy dirt. As you crouch to leap over a fallen log, your form elongates into that of a stag, and antlers burst from your brow.
Rosehips - Your vision tinges crimson, and a craving for sweets fills you.
Earwort - As the herb burns to nothing, your vision blurs, and your flesh grows dead and cold. A sharp needle begins to stitch your lips together.
Weed - As the weed smoulders into black ashes, you feel very relaxed.
Sparkleberry - The berry dissolves almost instantly into ashes; the smoke spirals upwards through the hose as a rush of silver. For a moment, all you see is a single stainless steel goat.
Arnica - The daisy burns to ashes, and as your vision blurs, you see a crowd of giant daisies stomping towards you with murderous eyes glowing at the tips of their petals.
Calamus - As the herb ashes away to nothing you are briefly greeted by the vision of a grand feast amidst strange, many-limbed beings.
Coltsfoot - As you inhale, your vision goes pastel; on the exhale, a flock of ivory moths exits with your breath in a spiral of gold-streaked wings.
Chervil - As the herb slowly ashes, drums pound in the distance, and something slimy eddies across your ankles.
Faeleaf - The smoke strikes your lungs, and for a moment, you behold the inexplicably terrifying vision of a silver mask.
Galingale - The herb burns to ashes. A roaring laughter fills your ears, growing louder and louder until finally, mercifully, it stops.
Horehound - As the herb ashes to nothing, patterns of ephemeral triangles drift across your field of vision.
Kafe - As the kafe smoulders, a strange sense of clarity and anxiety fills you.
Kombu - As the seaweed ashes, you find yourself drowning in a deep blue ocean. Tendrils of weeds reach upwards, tangling around your limbs and sucking you down.
Marjoram - The acrid smoke fills your lungs; for a moment, all you can see is the inside of a factory.
Myrtle - The smoke swirls through your nose, bringing with it the scent of wet dirt.
Pennyroyal - As you inhale the burning pennyroyal, your eyes water, and you begin to cough.
Reishi - As the mushroom smoulders, an ineffable sense of health and luck fills you.
Wormwood - As the bitter wormwood burns to ash, images of green-skinned women flash briefly across your eyes.
Yarrow - As you inhale, you hear dogs barking in the distance.
Merbloom - As you inhale the burning merbloom, tiny purple seahorses shoot out of your fingertips, and caper around your wrists, mocking your sense of style in tiny voices.
Juniper - As the smoke enters your lungs, you begin to hear howling mountain lions.
Flax - The flax burns to nothing, lingering as only a faintly sweet smell in your nostrils.

Dandy. Should typo that mistletoe line though. I wish that we had a mortalreview panel for the addition of flavour ambiance things like these and stuff like dreams and that smoke-wreathed dingbat pipe. Would be a neat way to add more custom flavours to dingbat artifacts without drawing more on admin resources. -nod me-

colewort has no effect when smoked because colewort is not a curing herb, it's just a really huge leaf for wrapping food in

Flax can't cure anything either And yet it technically works. And mistletoe annnd rosehips annnd weed annnnd juniper.

Doesn't posting all the lines remove any curiosity value?
Unknown2010-09-27 08:30:35
Not really.. Now people will want to try it on their own and seek out Pesukaru or Silvanos for it.

We occasionally allow mortal builders to do that sort of work.

And here I thought all mortal builders did was make rooms.

By the way, unless I'm mistaken there are multiple lines for each herb.

Well you own it, if there are you can post them!

If it's a real hookah you should be able to combine flavors/herbs for different tastes and effects. That's half the fun.
