I think they should make November or December have global harmony blessing the entire month, and nothing else. Besides things they normally do (Ironbeard),

I dunno. Free lessons for logging in is a great idea. It allows those of us without time, skill and money to still participate and go higher than Virtuoso in one rank.

Anyone discovered already what the benchmark to be reached is to get those 5 credits per week?

Edit: Would also have been handy to have weekrank and weekranks commands mentioned in the admin message, I had to ask around to find out the commands.
Zhov2010-10-04 12:51:48
Someone told me they reached it at a million. I'm still short of that, so I can't confirm.

can we also get something like a WEEKRANK SUMMARY to see how much each thing is worth?

That would be quite a list... Although to help estimates, guards are generally worth around 3000 (± ~10-15%).

I meant it more as a grouping where it listed the mob with how many killed and how much exp total you got from killing those...probably still big for some that hunts every kind of thing.

weekrank, kill something, weekrank, kill something, weekrank, ad infinitum...

Blessings and other XP boosts make it different for different people and times, anyway.

Was wondering about that... Did you confirm that XP boosts matters in the rankings, or is it an educated guess?

Just an educated guess.
Sior2010-10-04 19:33:09
Just an FYI, experience modifiers don't matter for the points in this promotion. It's raw experience.

Thanks for the clarification!

Still wondering what the experience milestone I should be aiming for to get credits is... suspicious.gif

1,000,000

Very easy to do in a week.

If it is I will cry, since I have a crappy connection I can't do it easily in a week. I'm limited to doing small stuff around Celest. sad.gif

I got it in three hours on just rockeaters, the inner sea, and the UV. One week should only be difficult if you limit yourself to ratting.
Eventru2010-10-05 03:18:22
The xp per kill isn't logged like offerings are. So there's nothing for it to list as a summary (and adding something like that in would probably end up being eight colours of massive bloat).

I love, love, love the events where we get something for a) logging in cool.gif being online for a certain period of time. They really encourage me to log on at least once a day, and that helps me stay active. I left a different IRE game because I went inactive for a massive period of time, and when I got back, I'd forgotten everything and/or it had changed. This helps keep me current.

The leveling bonus things basically do nothing for me, as I don't like bashing; however, that's just a personal playing still thing. However, I am participating in the weekly experience challenge, as I really want the credits. No way will I be able to be in the top 10 or something, but I should be able to hit 1 million experience without great difficulty (despite my bashing aversion). So, giving an exp event that had a goal other than increased exp really helped get me involved in this one.

I wouldn't necessarily call it insane! It's certainly quite nice compared to other things, but I don't think it quite qualifies for insanity, especially since it was toned down a little. If aetherhunting wasn't around, it would just be one really, really long .

Insanity was correct.

It was toned down and still remains almost 0 risk, heavy return, and benfits several people even though most of them dont have to work when the chances are half of them went afk. I am expecting Lustetrnia might win the weekranks, simply because of aetherspace. If you think its not the fastest means you are correct but it is the easiest to keep up indefinitely since it has no real costs to speak of.

So...

Did anyone get credits for the first week? Because I didn't. suspicious.gif
