But it says he's an enemy of my commune! So he's...ugh....this lusternia game is too confusing for a man who has too little time to figure it out!
Alisa2011-07-23 09:35:15
I'm sure he's going to be unenemied pretty soon anyway.

It has always been the case that a person can switch sides and nearly everyone just shrugs and accepts it no matter what they did before. (The exceptions are striking, but they are still exceptions.) Nowadays, the same applies to alliances and whole organizations, though. Just think of it like when the Red Sox and Yankees trade players: it doesn't matter where you were born or what you've done, only what uniform you're wearing right now.

The sporting analogy is apt, because, paradoxically, the people that most vehemently opposed the organization they're attempting to join find it easier to switch, as they're viewed as a more valuable combative asset. They sometimes have to face a little hoop-jumping to get there - but they tend to be the kind of people for whom hoop-jumping (in the form of "big" offerings of essence and gold) is easy as pie.

Vermilla made it in far, far easier than Malarious has been finding it.

Well, there's a sweet spot of combative ability vis-a-vis how big a pest you've been. It's not a straight shot.

We're long past the days when actions have consequences. All that matters is "Can you fight?".

You focus your attention on using no specific fighting style.

Nice. Spammy, but nice.

Spammier once I get a few more runes. Oh god, the need for elementals now... losewings.gif

Oh man. It's so nice when the novices just shoo and go away. I feel bad when they, particularly true novices, get stuck in the crossfire.

Rave for a good old fashioned back and forth insulting argument, short as it was. I haven't had one in a long time, and sometimes, they are just fun to play out biggrin.gif .

Yeah, it was awesome to see Lady T around again. smile.gif

From what I hear, it wasn't one of the chocolate bunnies, it was a cup cake. That poor squished cup cake...

Oh, and my rave. Talking with Lady-and-Lord Mysrai, and having Euterpe survive giving cup cakes to Lady Terentia!

But after talking with the Lord-and-Lady, I gotta ponder life decisions. Oh dear. Hmm.

You cover your eyes with your hands before removing them, gazing through the shadows of Mother Night and into a distant place, and from the shadows there into the very soul of Ankastra, hungrily drawing the warmth and life from him.

Inky blackness blots out the stars as the terror of Mother Night howls about you on a bitter wind. Siam covers his eyes with his hands for a moment before removing them, gazing off into the darkness of the night.

Peek-a-boo!

I really love my jewel mine. It's odd how much I enjoy going to upkeep it every day change and that oh yay moment when I get to harvest it.
