All my unfocused anger is gone now. Now my anger shall be directed at a select few. Especially the person leading them to their deaths.

Report #519 Skillset: Aeromancy Skill: RainbowClouds
Guild: Aeromancers Status: Finalised
Problem: RainbowClouds works in all instances of movements in to/out of rooms
where the effect is active. It afflicts with Confusion in all cases and has a
chance to additionally stop the movement.
Solution #1: RainbowClouds should not affect cubixes and dying (in the arena).
Additionally, RainbowClouds should not trigger when tumbling.
Solution #2: As above, but keep RainbowClouds afflicting with Confusion on
tumbling.
Solution #3: Provide a solution here.

Bug #14886 Status: Classified
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------
Rainbowcloud can counter the movement of a tumble, unlike similar skills such as
carcer.
-------------
When resurrected from Fleshmound as an Illuminati on Vortex, I ended up
resurrecting in the same room as I died in instead of the Fleshpot. 'As darkness
washes over you, you are almost overwhelmed by the pain and agony of merging
into a body that is still only half formed. As muscles and sinews continue to
form and knot, you find that you cannot breathe. You swim upwards through flesh
and fluid, breaking up through the surface of an oozing mound of bubbling flesh,
covered in fecund foam, but alive once again. You run into a network of rainbows,
the light and colour confusing you and making you disoriented. You are
afflicted with confusion. The raging blizzard prevents you from using your map.
The Vortex Falls.
-------------
To go with Bug14782 - I may have found the cause of the error. When an enemy
dies inside an Aeromancer's demesne in the arena, their departure may trigger
Rainbowclouds, causing them to instead respawn randomly within the arena itself.
This is one of many movement methods being erroneously stopped by Rainbowclouds
(including tumble and orgbixes). The arena appears to crash when the person who
was caught by the clouds in the arena is struck by a hostile action upon losing
grace.
-------------
It also stops forms of forced movement - beckon, summon, and gusting, to name a
few.

Trying to remember when I last played Kayte... my friend swears 2008, but I still lurked the forums on this account in 2009, so I had to have been playing... am I totally forgetting a character here? I don't thiiink. Pretty sure I stopped playing Kayte in November 2009. <.< I would have had no reason to be on the forums otherwise.

Uhhh... given that I suicided my previous characters and don't use the same email now...
I am sure that I would have remembered if I had an extra person in there, though.
Edit: I figured out the mystery!

Casilu and Llesvelt make my heart happy. Silly city dwellers. And yes, all of that stuff in my forum tagline is still true. Ev needs to meet this LetsVault character.
Llesvelt2010-12-06 17:16:44
This will probably cause some strange kind of paradox-whatever.

The only way that will happen is if you come into Hallifax, because he absolutely refuses to leave city limits, despite Phoebus' attempts to tell him about all the wonderful things there are outside of the city.
Llesvelt2010-12-06 19:17:31
Actually, he does leave city limits and acts halfway decent outside in two cases:
Being called by Elostian.
Diplomatic missions.

Ooooh I just made coffee, should I get on Lusternia? I have had two cups of coffee and I am wondering if it is a good idea to write up my follow-up DVA report while I am heavily caffeinated maybe I'll have lunch first?

Yikes, I almost did that. It's so easy to forget when you're excited about having finished it! That's why I hound everyone who is about to finish the Hand when I'm online to do that final step before completing it. I'm sorry you didn't have someone to do that to you. If we weren't mortal enemies I would assist you to make having to do it all over again easier.
