Artisans.
Obligatory comment of 'it would be easier if you didn't drive off every competent person in the city' comment here.
Relatedly; command burnout. I must come off as the biggest jackass shouting out all these orders. There's not even time to throw RP in.

In regards to Artisans, I don't think much would have changed. There was only me and one other person, I could only play at certain times of the day, certain days of the week, and I'm not sure how active the other person was because I only saw them in passing.
Wont say more though because I don't want to encourage this because I haven't had much sleep, and I'm sure I'll either lose my temper really easily, or go all loopy.

I guess it's easy to puncture the skin of those lacking in integrity. If you try to pick a fight, don't act surprised when people respond in kind.
I will see you in PMs to save people the drama and/or headaches, then.
Edit @Mieari: From our POV, you guys went for Xion first, though. That was probably a bad plan, even if Gaudiguch deliberately wanted to take it from Hallifax - there were several other bubbles available unclaimed.
Daraius2010-12-22 11:39:29
I foresee future opportunities for Daraius to be a heroic aethership captain. Totally renaming the ship Great Fox.

You do realize I don't play in any organization right now, right? I'm not sure where the "you guys" came from.

Oh, I read 'there was' in a far-closer-to-the-present context than it was intended. Ignore me.

But that means it was in the past, and you know I left.

Do claimed aether bubbles count as enemy territory and whatnot?
Unknown2010-12-22 13:20:18
No.

Well, now I am sad that I missed it all. I was asleep. Had I not been like, "BAH, EVENTS!" I might've stayed up to see it.
If anyone has a full report of it, or wants to share any quotes or anything I would love you forever. Cannot wait to see the events post, but it's the little things like fighting together rather than against and stuff that makes me smile.

Probably the funniest bit was my giving the Shaman (or whoever it was--never been there, was a little confused) 1,000,000 gp when she asked for it, but I don't have a log. Then some people kill her to give it back to me after I leave. Then I go to Serenwilde thinking they'd rez her for me because of my guilt, and she just gets consumed by the pixies! ("She'll be back in an hour").

Why did I delete the news post I spent half an hour on?

I have done this an innumerable number of times.

You should have waited for the RIGHTEOUS FIRES OF CHARISMA that is an influencer-trill to go to work.

I had fun with the event!
My only complaints were the total lack of communication early on. The last I had heard, people were trying to retrieve the Hand again. The next I hear, deathsights on Xion. I still don't know how we got from point A to point B, and was slightly irked I didn't even get the chance to go die in the first wave.
ORKUIS ARE MADE FOR CHARGING IN THE FIRST WAVE AND (EXPLODING|NOT EXPLODING). (at least, when it comes to denizen crap )
The rings were fun. Celest had a good turn out after a rather jumbled start. ("Oh hey I'm leaving, you guys don't really need a pilot, right? Good good, enjoy sitting there on the Hammer not knowing what you should be doing for quite a while!"*) I was just very glad we had a lot of people on at the right time.
I got to shoot a turret at a ship for the first time too, where the fight wasn't one side or the other deciding they'd rather be hunting dragons and bailing out for open hunting grounds.
All in all, a good time!
My only real concern at an overall level is that this is one more thing for a dominant org to perpetually sit on and maintain a significant benefit/advantage. I mean, after the last week or so, on practical mechanical grounds, between envoy/skillsets, politics, aetherpolitics, and ascendance stuff, I'd never, ever, ever, ever want to go to Gaudiguch again. Or any org perpetually under the wheel. This is only enhanced if the admin choose to remove the ability to have a construct on the nexus world.
*once it got sorted out, things got a lot better in a hurry. And it DID give me time to give the constructs file a good read.

I liked how originally the politics showed Crumkindivia as Candyland!
Shiri2010-12-22 15:42:05
Yeah, let's just stop pretending that almost everyone doesn't call it that anyway.
Unknown2010-12-22 15:44:54
I never did. Crum, yes, but never Candyland.
Shiri2010-12-22 15:49:19
I even put "almost" right there in the post.
Unknown2010-12-22 15:58:56
I knew it as Candyland before I knew it as its proper name. >_>
