You people.

It was being called that when it was still being designed!

I will say that, going over gold outlays for proper ships, its oddly impressive of individuals who build their own.
Moreso when so many were out last night- I found myself wondering how many were organizational ships, and how many were privately owned.

I wish gnomes weren't so easily gamed. I got one a while back and I don't expect to get anymore, because I know nothing about where they spawn.

How are they gamed? I thought drop spots were totally random.

Weren't last time they dropped. If it was changed, I can't recall it.

I was under the impression that it has always been random. As far as I can remember.
Casilu2010-12-22 17:51:22
I heard from several sources that it is not.

It definitely isn't. There's some folks who have at least one gnome down to within three rooms for a spawn point.

Gnomes are random, trust me.
We have to update the script every year for new areas.

Is that job as bad as it sounds?
Eventru2010-12-22 18:12:38
Nah, it only takes a minute or two.
(...The really hard part is going, 'Uhhh, what new areas are there again?')

Dear Estarra,
May I please have a gnome that will give me lovely gifts?
Much love, Aeral.
I've run all over the basin over all the highways, all over Celest, and have found none. Also, the drops aren't at any regular time and I always seem to just miss them.

Try to branch out a little, those are very high traffic areas, likely to be by someone just walking around. Go into areas that are off the roads and mountains. Bondero, Moors, Desert, Tolborolla, etc

I don't even call it Crum. Always Crumkindivia for me.
<-- would immediately be of Crumkane's Order if He ever returns. And will be a Candydancer, with my gummyfae, pastryfae and chocofae.
Edit: Oh, and I totally called dibs on Crumkindivia. Unfortunately, we went to Xion because we already had another ship there, but turned out we didn't have a second gunner who can bombard. Heh.

Unanswered questions from this event (at least from my perspective).
* Where did the Gnafia go? (Remember, they give Enemy Status)
* Are the Underbosses permanently dead?
* How is Big Mama Hardbottom related to Gorky?
* What the heck does the Solstice Mean in Lusternia?
