From the latest events post. WHAT DO YOU SEE WRONG THERE, HMM? tongue.gif

blackeye.gif Can I just buy you a gender bubble, please?

It'd save the post writers!

You act like anyone remembers that she's a male.

Saw my name more times than I expected!

QUOTE
Mistaking the dwarf Tully for the figurine of the same name, the gnome happily allowed Tully to meet with Mr. Bondshredder.

So that's what happened! People were asking me about that and damned if I knew. But, if I remember correctly, there was a LOT of foreshadowing with some trips to Bottledowns. (Each time I saw it the figurine was "aware", more or less).

QUOTE
With it, they tracked down the last Verse of Magnora - even paying 1,000,000 gold, courtesy of the janitor Tully, for it. Mistakenly believing a much older verse to be related to the current one, Hallifax and many others sought out the Nomads and Mesas, to find the Hand of Tzaraziko - with less than half a day left. Yet the Skarch became embroiled in a war, ruining their misconceived hopes for salvation there.

I kind of loved how the Hallifax Horde was action first and thinking later, as I was following them. (No offense intended, it was just kind of funny that scientific minds got to be quick action first instead of slow methodological thoughts).

QUOTE
Meanwhile Tully began to poke about the Elder Wars histories, hoping to find some significance, and there discovered the Book of Bollikin. Soon after, Indiau Eepex instructed Hallifax on ancient numerical symbols, and they came to realize their error. After a brief discussion on deductive reasoning, Professor Ileein of the Institute lead her comrades to the World's Library, and soon made the same discovery Tully did. While the dwarf stumbled about looking for a news room to share his discovery, a small group of Hallifaxians sat in heartbroken silence over what they read.

I was wondering if I or the Hallifax Horde was first.

Excuse me, the "Hallifax Horde" (as you put it) was possibly the most effective player in this entire business (until machinegrinding >_<).
Lehki2010-12-23 04:10:39
I was bothered by the "Wingnut tried to stop them, the criminal duo were unsuccessful, and players managed to the cut down the horrors."

You were first to discovery it, but spent all that time finding a news room, during which Hallifax got the clue and went to read it themselves. By the time you posted they were all sniffles and snuffles.

Oh yes, I know you guys have been really effective in the past. smile.gif I was actually hanging with your nexus because I thought you'd have the most success! But I just thought it was funny your well-organized gang got something wrong.

Which is why he(and darius) are the detectives in my hallifax/dirty harry/lethal weapon crossover.

... err.

I remember the Hallifaxian Horde having no clue what to do in multiple places.

So. I dispute your claim, good sir! You just got lucky finding the Certificate first. Hmph.

Even Ice Queen Ileein has a heart. sad.gif

And stuff and nonsense, we always knew exactly what we were doing. It just wasn't always the right thing to do. But all of it was done efficiently and with the utmost professionalism! Except for anything that involves me questing past 12:00 midnight, my time, including the entire drag episode in Meliashmora and most of the influencing on Frosticia. That wasn't tremendously professional at times.

Actually, regarding the Tome translation, it was pure luck, it was Ithya's idea to translate the Igasho book and find a phrase. So it was indirectly Gaudiguch for the win there!

The Newsroom problem was two-fold...one I was in Gaudiguch and didn't remember where it is and needed her help to get there, and two I ended up having problems figuring out why Mudlet wouldn't let me copy and paste, as I'm used to using CMUD.

Protip: click and hold at the bottom of the text, then hit page up until you get to the top, then right click and copy that way. It's annoying, but hey. Mudlet's still worth it.
Unknown2010-12-23 04:28:50
Both of you more or less tied! Be nice to each other.
Unknown2010-12-23 04:38:08
Ileein is going to end up getting a reputation for being a event-post-credit-stealer (and also for being a woman). In the Talthos event post they said our group was led by him after all my stressful hard work for it! D: Ileein, why do they love you so much!?
Ileein2010-12-23 04:47:24
Because I am lovable, of course.
