And you need 50 corpses on Xion, but you only get 44 in one run through. I really am wondering if these are oversights or done intentionally.

As tired as I am right now, funny is not the word I'd use. sad.gif

Four full respawns of the bubble is a bit much, guys. I know you told Rika it wasn't a bug and all, but could we at least get two more snowpeople so we can skip one of those resets?

You already can, I did the quest in about 3 hours the other day.

It takes knowing in advance what you're going to have to do, and killing off all the snowpeople about 15 minutes after you kill the ice people. Then by the time you need them you can hand them in, and will only need to kill 2 more snow people to finish it.

This leaves you with the plus side of also having almost all the snow people alive when you do the influencing.

It's kind of annoying, but sometimes with these quests that's the only way to get anywhere; you have to min-max the entire thing or just spend ages waiting for silly repops, heh.

At this point I feel like it's intentional, because it's so widespread. :/
Lendren2011-01-12 13:17:47
Surtami always needed more corpses than existed at once, and that's one of the earlier quests of that sort, so I assume it's got to be intentional.

It's kinda funny how you need 25 wands and there's only 23 snowpeople.

I really dislike situations like this as well. If you had something else you could work on related to the quest while you're waiting for corpses to respawn, then I think it's okay (As is the case for Djarrakh and a couple of other places) but if you're at the point in a quest where you're sitting around for 45 minutes just waiting for spawns, that is silly - particularly on a quest with no negative effects and no counter. I could conceivably understand if a conflict quest required a double-spawn just to draw the process out and possibly give people a chance to notice/interfere (if they have a reason to), but regular quests? It adds nothing to the quest experience, it's just a pain in the butt!

Dramube would be fine if there was a bigger chance of getting turn whatever chips. Instead, try the Facility quest. Oh, there aren't enough slugs in one respawn, oh, and when you turn in enough you have a less than 50% chance of actually getting the crystal you need for the quest. Also, it is stealable too. Because you aren't gonna get enough crystals in one run unless you're insane.
Sylphas2011-01-12 17:13:45
One repop, I could handle that, even with nothing else to do besides wait. I was doing WoW dailies on my other monitor while I sat on an aetherbubble totally cut off from the world waiting.

But at least three, maybe four? That's just silly.

I don't plan on doing Dramube any time soon, unless I feel like borrowing a bunch of other bubblixes and making sure they're around the whole time so I don't get stuck, so that's not an issue yet. tongue.gif

You know, interesting fact.

You can complete the entire Djarrakh quest sequence, for either side, without killing a single aslaran/krokani.
Casilu2011-01-12 19:53:59
I just realized that I'm not in half of the major orgs that you can possibly be involved in at one time. sad.gif

Since I'm Orderless and family-less. crying.gif

I am playing HALF the game.

You purchase 1 credit(s) at an average price of 5 gold per credit.
Total gold spent: 5

Oh Yeah
Unknown2011-01-12 21:23:39
I thought I was the lucky one when I bought 10 at 3288 each (obviously, the seller meant to do 6288 each, which would've been just one sovereign less than the second lowest).
Unknown2011-01-12 21:28:48
This time it wasn't me. (I think I did 1 credit for 1 gold as a lark one time).

Yup. It's annoying because that way is so much cooler, yet considerably harder to do.

Edit: When I did it, it was the other way because I didn't know about the turnins for keystones from my old notes. Honestly it's kinda lame to have it being shortcut like that.

Back when I did it, you couldn't. But you couldn't do it with killing them, either. smile.gif

Actually, it's always been this way!

(The things you learn bug fixing...)
Kiradawea2011-01-12 23:53:44
He's saying that the quest was like Taerin back then. Bugged to nil and back.

Havastus tricked me into believing that if I influenced my guild teacher with charity I'd get lessons. sad.gif

However, who wouldn't try it once for the chance of free lessons? dry.gif

Not because of the part that Eventru is referring to, though. Another part was broken back then (plowing)

I seriously wish that I could gag all of the spam, because even with the shipt so bright (I custom colour config a lot of stuff) my eyes still glaze over and I don't actually read shipt sometimes. -.- We've been checked twice though, and I don't blame the admins for doing it.

Interesting, my check involved them just ripping me from the ship.

CONFIG SHIPSIGHT 0 removes a TON of spam, so if you're an empath, combateer or siphoner that's siphoning on command it really is a must.

I wish there was some way to make notes in someone else's books. It's really hard to recommend changes when you can't underline stuff as you go along.

Get them to set you as the Editor, EDITOR BOOK LILIA can be done by the author of the book.

Edit: Sidd, I really love the football sig gif tongue.gif

I go to dinner thinking I qq'd.

I come back to find that I didn't, and that a bunch of people had sent me tells in the meantime.
