Forum addiction! Despite wanting to headdesk at the constant complaints, I can't stop reading.
Solution:
1. Go to http://www.sidereel.com (don't mind the new annoying ads =/)
2. Allow the page to load, and then scroll down to Mad Men. Click.
3. Start from Season 1, episode 1, and watch on Megavideo.
Or just watch something else, but I am addicted to that show now (and it's paced well enough that you only watch 1 or 2 eps a day)
TBH I've found the forums kind of a bore these days, cycling between rants and raves and rants and raves. I wouldn't check them so often if it wasn't in my bookmarks bar
Kiradawea2011-01-27 00:51:30
How many times do I need to complete Xion before Moxie decides to stick around for more than a few seconds? At least she's actually starting to appear now.
Ayisdra2011-01-27 01:28:00
I miss Lack of Rants, it was so much nicer to read. So much more interesting to me.

Goes more like:
Positive (Gee golly combat is fun)
Minor Speedbumps (Hmm, sure is harder to kill than I thought)
Annoyed (Gah my class has some pretty big drawbacks)
Angry (Omfg why is this not nerfed yet)
Bitter ( choke)
Hateful (Admin hate my org and I hate everyone else)
Jaded (I still hate everyone, but I'm not going to do anything and instead complain on forums)
???
Zen (I'll just post funny things on quotes and then play mafia all day)

Pretty accurate. And that means I'm in the Zen stage. Sweet deal. Although I think I skipped over the hateful stage. I'm not really a rager.
Unknown2011-01-27 03:30:34
I go through most of those stages every time I log in, but always in that order. I try to hover between Jaded and Zen, in the Limbo.

It appears that if you want to kill a Seren in Serenwilde, you just have to pay 5k gold immediately after and you'll get instant amnesty. Move aside, Gaudiguch. Bribing your way to higher ranks has nothing on paying a petty fine to do whatever you want.
Kiradawea2011-01-27 12:39:21
Now we need an Albus ritual.

That's pretty fun!
I shall also send 5k gold.

I bounce wildly between the bottom... seven. Usually with some sort of relation to how work went that day or just my general mood.

I think I went straight to Zen, except I do do combat and still enjoy it. (even if sometimes I rage so hard that I have to log off)

designs having to use British spelling of things... it may be a small thing but some case it just makes the word look ugly to me

The question is if designs have to use British spelling why do we have cookie patterns instead of biscuit patterns (sorry wanted to make that remark ever since I went to to that Evolving English exhibition at the British Library)
Shiri2011-01-27 18:18:41
Cookies are actual things that exist (those doughy sweet things, typically with chocolate chips or something), so depending on the breadth of the definition that is perfectly acceptable English.
Lendren2011-01-27 18:22:19
The question is why we have to be sticklers about Britishisms but we aren't allowed to be sticklers about dangling modifiers, misuse of punctuation and compound words, and other things where there are actual real grammar rules in play?

Dammit Lendren it's because British English makes us SUPERIOR to the INFERIORITY OF AMERICAN ENGLISH and only poser writers write like those boorish Americans. It's like the Charites are hipsters! 8D Elitist hipsters!
But for srs this game is so confused about if it's British or American or what. Oh game time is GMT, proper english is UK english, OH WAIT almost everything else is scheduled by EST or PST and events happen during prime time for American folks. It is a mad world we live in, my friends.
